I just bought our roundtrip on JetBlue. Nice price too. $74 per person going down and $64 per person coming back. (Washington DC - Orlando)

Thats a great price Matthew! I am seeing that airfares are either really reasonable, or through the stratosphere.

JetBlue just extended their booking window to January 2nd today. As of yesterday it cut off on October 31st. So I was able to snag some of the first seats on the return flight that we wanted. We opted to return on Tuesday, November 3rd. It turns out that the 2nd and 3rd are teacher work days so no school. We didn't want the girls to miss more than the 6 days that they are already missing for the cruise.

We booked our flights on JetBlue when the window opened through the 31st. I believe we are in row 4, and my parents and sister are in row 3.

We are flying to Florida on JetBlue and returning home on AirTran. I think we are in the front few rows on AirTran as well.

Is the $209.20 for one way from Orlando to Portland? If that is the case, then ours is a little cheaper afterall. Ours are $159.20 from Orlando to Richmond. That makes more sense. Is that the case?

Yes, that does make more sense. Ours is $179.20 going down on Thurs. 10/22 & $209.20 coming home on Mon 11/2. The whole thing is less than $400 which is great. And no layovers makes it even better! We.ve never flown JetBlue but have frinds who have taken that flight & said it's great!

Karen, I use Photoshop CS4 Extended and it's a powerful program!! I upgraded from CS2 (bought in 2005) and it cost me $400 USD but it also comes with many other design programs. I use it a lot but even for me it's overkill. There's many features that I haven't even looked at yet and I've had it for 2 months almost.

I taught myself Photoshop many years ago but I would love to take an advanced class.

You may be interested in Photoshop Elements, which is Photoshop's baby brother It's about $99 USD and works well for photographers. It takes a bit to learn but not nearly as bad as the regular Photoshop.

Just got a call from the lady who I'm renting DVC points from and my waitlist has come through

We are now spending Halloween night at Bay Lake Towers

I am happy because this means we can just walk back to our resort when we are done for the night at MNSSHP

So after the cruise we will be heading there for some pool time for Kira and hopefully a nap too

If your BOB logo ever disappears it's because my host server is down. It doesn't happen often and usually only for a few minutes but unfortunately all servers do this from time to time.

You can always save your BOB logo to your own Photobucket account and use that graphic instead. But photobucket has gone down before too

I just got off the phone with DCL. Here are a couple of questions that they answered for me. I know many may already know this, but I thought it might be helpful.

CRUISE INSURANCE

DCL said that we can still add the cruise travel insurance through them up to the point that we make our final payment. (July 25th) Now we did book our cruise directly with DCL when we were onboard in May 2008. I don't know if it might be different if you went through a travel agent.

We have not purchased the insurance for our previous two cruises and everything worked out fine. But I'm getting a bit nervous if this "flu" reemerges in the fall. The chance that one of us would have a cold and be denied boarding is sounding like a bit more of a risk now. Everybody is bound to be on edge.

FINAL PAYMENT and SHORE EXCURSIONS

Our final payment due date is 08/10/09. However, we REALLY need to pay by 07/25/09 in order to make shore excursion reservation at the 90 day mark. All payments must be in before making these reservations. I'm pretty sure that most of you all knew that one already, but somebody might have missed that point.

I also arranged for a birthday celebration for the girls at dinner on 10/28.

Excitement is building!
