O.K., back to taxes. Need to get to the other side of town yet today to drop them off.

I think the Cat 7 was something like $2,100 or $3,100 more. I'll find out for sure.

Now just don't ask AFEG about the Cat 3 pricing. He was kicking himself over that when he found out how low it was.

Oh wow, that's quite a bit more expensive :scared1: Hmm perhaps a cat 9 would be nice :goodvibes

Speaking of the gent, I haven't seen him on here since he got that special package delivered by Cheryl and Al :rolleyes1

Wii

A few asked re the new game I bought

Its MUCH harder than the wii fit, more "proper" exercise.

Took about 25 minutes to set up - it asks a lot of questions re height, measurements, ability etc so it can work out a programme for you suitable for your ability.

I just did 2 x 15 minute workouts this morning, because I was going walking later... it was quite a hard workout, it asks you a few times to grade your ability eg too easy, working hard, couldnt keep up etc. It was constant 15 minutes rather than the wii fit where you stop start all the time.

It also utilises any fitness equipment you have at home. It asks what you have and then puts in exercises to use these items, eg hand weights, heart rate monitor, ball, step.

It also grades the exercises into a "difficulty" category... most of the exercises the trainer gave me to do today were either level 1,2 or 3. I presume these will continue to get more difficult as I (hopefully) progress.

You can also choose the "room" you exercise in, manhattan loft apartment, zen peaceful garden etc. I only had 3 to choose from, but more will open up as I exercise.

You get to choose from different types of exercise too, eg yoga, cardio, etc and the type of music you want to exercise too. More options on these will open up later too.

She will recomend a programme, but you can choose eg yoga if you dont fancy cardio that day.

You also choose which days you exercise and for how long.

I had to be careful with some of hte exercises due to my back, but so far so good:thumbsup2

There was an option to add exercise points too - not sure what this was, but I presume its if you exercise in addition to the game you can add it in, eg my walking today:thumbsup2

At the end of each workout it tells you how many calories you've burned! - I liked that bit:goodvibes

Any questions let me know and I'll try to answer.

Would I recomend it? - yes! - although.... ask me tomorrow when I'm aching:rolleyes1

Yeah, that is why we opted for the Cat 9. It was enough to pay for a hole other cruise.

As for AFEG, I talked to him yesterday. They are in London today. Went up to Scotland on Sunday to Edenburgh (sp?) - where the Harry Potter stuff was from.

Sounds cool :thumbsup2

My two brothers and SIL are over there now on vacation. They were in London yesterday and then will be travelling to Edinburgh, Glascow and Carnoustie, to see where my mom grew up. Wish I was with them

Great minds think alike. ;) I hope they announce the date of the cruise and when we can make reservations soon.

I know both boys will be out of college so maybe we will have $$ again. I just worry that it will be cold in Jan & Feb.

That was amazing. Sounds just like the ones I've seen on stage, maybe even better.

I like Britain's Got Talent more than America's Got Talent. The AGT has too many acts that shouldn't be on there. Not sure if it is because the American people want to see the people embarassing themselves.

I remember the first time I got into following BGT was back on the KK thread when AFEG put the post up of Paul Potts. That was another great competition.

I didn't know this was starting already. I'll have to follow it online now.

Thanks for posting that Joanne.

You are welcome DS # 2 sent it to me, he saw it in his TV class at FSU! I want to go back to college if they get to watch TV!

I think it is warm that close to the equater all year long. It has to be warmer than it will be here. My only problem will be having to fly home to the cold from CA. I would like to stay at least one night at Disneyland. Jan & Feb will be great for us except for basketball but I think they will be able to do without us for two weeks. I wonder how many points it would take? We probably will use points for one of us and then $ for the other.

Megan sent it to me this morning. I wonder if she got it from her class this morning? I am like you we never had classes like that hen I was in college. Now I am sounding like my mother.

Yes, looking forward to being on the Wonder! And it is a long way off so who knows what can happen but I plan on booking it in November when the first tier pricing comes out :cool1:

Cass - we paid $3,506 for the two of us and we were on the waiting list for when the dates became available to book (sorry don't know what tier pricing that is, but would assume this is 1st tier?). We didn't have a booking in hand, but did get some onboard credit from the TA.
