Joanne, I know you work close to the beach, but do you also live close to it? Close enough to walk from your house and back?

I wish, We can get to the beach in 10 minutes, as the crow flies its only a few blocks, but there is a barrier island, so it's six miles to the bridge to get tto the beach! Maybe if we win the lottery!!!!

Doing fine here now too - we had winds upward of 55mph today. We had a tree come down in the back yard. Mack was actually out there because we saw the wind had pushed it from the direction it had been leaning to the polar opposite. He was getting stuff out of our storage building (mower, weed eater, etc...) because it looked like it was going to fall on the building. He was debating whether to get out our bikes - looking back and forth between the bikes and the tree - and decided to just move the mower and such. When he started to move it to the garage, the tree fell. It missed the storage building (yippee) and didn't take any other trees with it. The tarps on the roof were billowing horribly and looking like they were going to fly loose as well. We are supposed to have more rain tonight but not nearly as intense as this morning. It took Mack over 2 hours (normally an hour and 10 minute commute at 7AM) to get to his office in downtown Atlanta today - and that was at noon after he got our daughter's vehicle taken care of - and over 2 hours to come home this evening (after 6:20) because of all the power outages (traffic lights out) and trees still down across roads. He even took a different route home to try to avoid all he had been through going in this morning, but it was not to be. I can't remember it ever being this bad here (usually it is ice that brings things down and cuts power) in all the almost 13 years we have been here. All is well though!

hey al.. was yesterday your birthday??

Very glad to hear from both of you. I didn't see the news tonight but when I heard on the radio coming home about severe storms in Atlanta I was concerned. And I had seen this morning on TV that the whole area was having severe weather. My kids are going to Dallas Wed for a week. I hope things settle down - I'll be a wreck if they have bad weather there!

Dan has gone to a baseball game with 2 of our sons. The Red Sox AA affiliate in Portland, the Sea Dogs. It's pretty cold out - bet he's frozen but he'll never admit it!!

Hey guys! Wow, slow thread!! Everyone has a life I guess :rolleyes1

Just wanted to pop in and say hello! Hope everyone is ok :thumbsup2

I talked to Rob tonight and we decided that we really want to go on the WB PB Repo cruise :yay: I sure hope it's affordable :scared:

So for you guys who have done the repo before, who did you book it through? Did you leave it in the hands of Dreams Unlimited or did you bite the bullet and call DCL directly?

Anyone wanna share their 1st tier price they paid for their category? :confused3

Is this the one that is supposedly early in 2011 on the Wonder Cass? Chuck and I were toying with the idea too but that's just waaaaaay too far away for us to consider right now. I suppose booking it wouldn't hurt though.:confused3

Well, it didn't take long to get caught up here today. I got to read two whole posts! :sad1:

Have a great day all.

Life...what life? I was thinking the same thing Cass, when I logged on at lunchtime.

I'll check with Rick to see if he remembers what we did and how much it cost. We had a cat 11 sideways and our booking was handled by All Seasons Travel. Can't remember if we had a reservation with DCL in hand.

I'd love to the repo again and this time the other way. With it being the Wonder, you'll get to see Toy Story in the WD Theatre. We're gonna have to wait unfortunately, as Rick's contract at work will be up for renewal then. We might well make a 'dummy' booking in Oct, just in case, but depends on what deposit DCL are asking for. It was only $500 for the two of us last August.
