Couldn't get my x-rays done tonight afterall. I have to go back tomorrow afternoon. The x-ray tech on tonight was not qualified to do the kind of x-rays I need to have done.

One good thing, I have off tomorrow with it being Good Friday!!!

Hi everybody.

JEFFY--nice pics of Logan. He looks like a "big boy" with his medal.

ROBIN--congrats on the degree. Can you tell me again what the degree is in?

CASS--Glad to see you posting again.


I returned a little while ago from my appt with the neurosurgeon. Even though my EEG was abnormal, everything is A.O.K. He says that because of the brain surgery, my EEG will always be abnormal. So I guess abnormal is normal for me--Tell me something I don't know. I can start cutting back on the anti-seizure meds, too. I will see him again in June after having an MRI done, then I think he will release me to a military neurologist for follow ups. So I feel great! The only news that was remotely negative was that there is a fairly high recurrence of this type of brain tumor, but I'm not too worried, because it is almost always benign and I'll be under a neurologist's care for many years to come, so we'll be able to catch a new tumor early.

Also, we went to see the cherry blossoms in DC. They were beautiful, but I'm afraid they are almost done. Last week would have been better. The best part of the day was when Rob found someone's lost wallet. He looked through it and called many numbers on business cards and scraps of paper, until finally I think someone called this man saying we were looking for him. He called us when we were on our way back to Quantico (sitting in I-95 traffic, really--ugh), so when we pulled in at the base, we stopped by the post office and mailed the wallet back to him. He lives in Maryland, so he should get it tomorrow. Needless to say, he was relieved and we felt so good to be able to do something good for a total stranger and have our kids witness it. We were as blessed as he was.


So I'm celebrating with pizza!

Hello everyone!

Once again I am miles behind. I just don't have enough time to do what I want anymore.

However, we have been busy cleaning our basement. It's actually to the point that it is usable again! We played a bit of air hockey a few nights ago. Megan has a friend over tonight. We are all going to watch Bedtime Stories as soon as they are done with their pizza. Until then, I'll browse back a bit and see what has been going on!

2/Why after 4/5 years am a still watching "Lost"?,ive been "lost" since the guy sent the Polar bear to the big Ice-skating rink in the sky in series 1 yet i still bloody watching it week in week out.....

What is really sad is, I didn't originally start watching it! The first season, the morning radio hosts were talking about it. I decided it sounded good so I caught up on it when they did multiple episodes for a couple of weeks and read the synopsis of each episode online. I've been watching it ever since. Now I have to -- to find out what happens in the end (not to mention, what has actually been happening all along!)

question #2. we've been watching Lost since season 1. we constantly ask each other whats going on...but we still watch.
sometimes they replay it the next week with pop up trivia info and that helps a lot.
