Hello everyone....

I can't quite believe it - this is my first post on thread 21. I'm not caught up, so let me know if anything is going on I should know about.

A lot has been going on in real life - some fun stuff and some not so fun stuff.

The fun stuff was a baby shower I co-hosted for a friend at work. We had it at my house, so there was a lot of cleaning, etc. that had to be done.

I made a baby carriage cake:

and I also made a diaper cake:

My co-worker is originally from Norway, and her mother was here from Norway and came to the shower also, which was a lot of fun. They don't have baby showers in Norway, so she was blown away.

Great job on the cakes, Jen!:thumbsup2

Well, thanks for the advice, y'all. I went ahead and booked our return flights with Jet Blue for $79 each, including taxes and fees.:cool1:

It is 51 degrees here. Alittle chilly for me. Diane

That's downright "balmy" around here Di. :goodvibes

Mama Goose:yay: - Ellis got his letter today:goodvibes:hug::hug::hug::hug:

That was soooo thoughtful of you:hug:

He loves it!:yay: He's already put the letter on his wall in his bedroom, and he's put the "boarding passes" in my packing bag ready:cutie:

He was real excited that he got his own pass:cutie:

Thank you Nancy:hug:

Huh? :cutie:

A little girl being a drama queen that is normal isn't it?:confused3 My DD is 19 and still is a drama queen!:rolleyes1

I have a 24 year old drama queen. It never ends.

Great cakes!!!! :worship: You are so talented

Has anyone booked two one-way tickets to get to Orlando rather than one round trip ticket? I am thinking of doing this with JetBlue. Rob and I are still not sure if we are going down there on the Friday the 23rd or Saturday the 24th, but we know we are headed back home on the 31st. The prices seem really good, so I'd like to lock them in for the 31st, so to speak. Any opinions?

I can only speak for myself..but come on the 23rd and stay at the Radison.

Nancy love you forgot to mention "The Boy" issues.....Have a nice day now Janice......:rotfl2::lmao::rotfl2:

Thanks to you too;)

Mine are home for spring break, good thing I have to work. Or my house would sound like Paige's house.:rotfl2:

Bryce liked the you tube video. On ESPN yesterday we had a ManU game. I taped it but haven't watched it yet.

Tomorrow we're off to my doc's appt (should have been in Feb-thanks, Tricare) then the Cherry blossoms in DC. Friday--Kings Dominion.

Hope I'm not too late Paige. But good luck from me too:flower3::flower3:

You all and my DD will have a lot to talk about on the cruise. She is a big ManU fan. She watched the game yesterday. She is the reason we have to buy the extra package for our cable is so she can see their games.

To be fair my mother still says I am a drama queen. I am sure she is mistaken me with my brother.:rolleyes1 I guess Megan has come by it honestly

Hey everyone...

I am home for a little while before I have to head back out for an advisory board dinner.

It was wild today weatherwise. It was 45 degrees out but was snowing! Both my phone and my car said 45, but the flakes were flying. There must be some really cold air just above the surface to cause that.
