Good morning everyone. Hope everyone is having a good day so far.
Has anyone booked two one-way tickets to get to Orlando rather than one round trip ticket? I am thinking of doing this with JetBlue. Rob and I are still not sure if we are going down there on the Friday the 23rd or Saturday the 24th, but we know we are headed back home on the 31st. The prices seem really good, so I'd like to lock them in for the 31st, so to speak. Any opinions?
We did that this time for all of the reasons you mention. JetBlue had a great flight time, and good price going down, but when we booked, they hadn't yet opened up 11/1, so we booked AirTran coming back. The return flight had a great flight time and also a great price. I have never flown either Airline so I am excited to give them a try.

So are my yankees. DH is in DC the Yankees are in Baltimore- and he says it's too cold............ugh, what I wouldn't give to be there.
I would so be there! There were seats still available for opening day at Camden Yards the other night, and given how bad the Orioles are, they are probabably pretty cheap.

I am going to the 2nd Yankee home game in the new stadium next Friday. Its a day game, and I am hoping for warm weather. Last year, I was wearing jackets to games into June.

It's ok. The kids fight, then they get along, then they fight, you know...same old same old.lol

Tomorrow we're off to my doc's appt (should have been in Feb-thanks, Tricare) then the Cherry blossoms in DC. Friday--Kings Dominion.

Have fun and good luck with the DR, gotta love tricare,

We are on the same schedule, driving down friday, picking up two boston fans :rolleyes1and having lunch at DTD, then off to the Radisson, One night 10/31 at AKV and then drive home Sunday afternoon!

Alright I won't say anything bad. I know my friend Roger IE your husband is happy this morning:lmao::lmao:.

How is the trainee doing?
Nancy will be subbing the rest of the week. So as usual she leaves me a list every day.
Went to doctor yesterday and was very happy with results. My blood sugar which we have been watching for past two years has been normal or below for over a year now just by exercise and good diet. The colestrol count was 138 which is very good.
Doctor told me he wished all almost 66 yr old men were as healthy as you.
I think Nancy and I work hard to stay that way.
The only time we really cheat is on the cruises then we get back on track when we get back home.
Well enough of that .Everybody have a great day
Dan

Good morning

Nancy and I booked a Jet Blue one way from Portland ME to Orlando. We only paid $79.00 per person. Its a non stop flight.
We are waiting for Nov to open so we can book our return flight for Nov 2nd or 3rd. We are staying at least one day after the cruise.

Oh, don't I wish. I dread trying to do that again. I want shirts but was a nervous wreck doing it last time!!!!

Is it really that hard??? I was motivated to go out on a limb and do them, but now I am nervous.

I am so not artistic! :headache::scared:

If you don't want to make the t-shirts how about just some buttons? I used Cass' mnsshp logo, added our names, cut them out and placed them in a blank button that I bought from Michaels. Since our BOB logo is round too, that would be easy peasy. I'll probably still do the t-shirts for the BOB logo, but our mnsshp logos are already done and in buttons to wear on any t-shirt.
If I think about it, I'll take a picture of my buttons tonight and post them.

Hello all,

phew just finished making the sloppy joe mix for thursdays pot luck at work and I currently have the roast beast marinating in the fridge for supper at Cass's. :goodvibes

Sorry I have been away all weekend but we had Easter with my kids this weekend... they go to Cranbrook every year to visit my ex's parents.. they have this HUGE lot of land and they hide all the easter goodies in the woods. I insist they go... it was always sooooo much fun... one year Opa (grandpa) hid a bike 15 feet up a tree!..LOL could never take that away from them :goodvibes

Our Easter schedual is as follows:
Good Friday my Mother in law host supper (Turkey)
Saturday my sister in law host supper (Ham)
Sunday I make a nice light brunch for everyone at our house! Wii bowling tournament in the afternoon..lol

what about everyone else?

Good Friday: (Hoping Chuck surprises me and takes off...) shopping, tag gifts with Stacy and Friday Fish Fry for dinner.
Saturday: Nuttin' but hiding eggs and cleaning the house, not particularly in that order.
Sunday: Easter Breakfast with the kids, Easter egg hunt outside if it the weather is nice, watch The Sound of Music for the 1012th time:goodvibes, visiting with my folks, hopefully at home and not the hospital. :cutie:

this is very true.. it's Disney.....who is ever an adult at Disney??..lol I remember when I finally got to go to Disney world in 2005.. my sis in law and my mom in law.. ran for the gate like we were 6 year olds..lol if anyone there looks at you weird.. pffffftttt to them.. it's FREAKING DISNEY!!! LOL :lmao:

I love to see people doing that Bernie! No weird looks from me. :wizard:

So true...Just today I was listening to my iPod and Disney playlist. I kept singing all day, "Theres a great big beautiful tomorrow" and "Yo Ho, Yo Ho a Pirates life for me."

Thanks to some great DISers (you know who you are) I put out a call for Disney Music last year and a few came through with flying colors!! I now own more Disney music than I ever hoped for. I play it on my iPod speakers or my cd player at work all day long. Does it irritate my co-workers?...Absolutely! I love it!!! :lmao:

We did Sistah P. One way from Milwaukee to Orlando on October 22nd and one way from Orlando to Chicago on November 1st. Air Tran did not have their reasonable flights posted to Milwaukee so we all picked Chicago instead. We got some amazing prices but will have to rent a car to drive back to Milwaukee. Still, waaaaay cheaper this way.:thumbsup2

Maybe she's DISsing.....:lmao::lmao:

I looked up Kings Dominion yesterday. Walt did too while I was gone. Both of us agree looks like alot of fun. Hope you can take the ride. Hope you have nice weather both days. The cherry blossoms should be beautiful tomorrow. I know what you are saying. Fight, Get Along, Fight. Sounds familiar at my daughter's house with Asiah and Elijah. Diane

Hiya peeps:goodvibes

Checking in late today:rolleyes1

Been busy.

We stopped at subway for a yummy chicken teriyaki sub (totally scrummy) then at the icecream van in the park for an icecream as we walked round in the sunshine:cool1:

No idea what the weather man was talking about - its been lovely here today - windy but sunny:cool1:... my hair is all over the place looks like this smilie:crazy: but I'll take wind and sunshine over rain any day:thumbsup2

Mama Goose:yay: - Ellis got his letter today:goodvibes:hug::hug::hug::hug:

That was soooo thoughtful of you:hug:

He loves it!:yay: He's already put the letter on his wall in his bedroom, and he's put the "boarding passes" in my packing bag ready:cutie:

He was real excited that he got his own pass:cutie:

Thank you Nancy:hug:

me too.:rolleyes1
been busy getting my parents place ready for their return on saturday.
they may want to remain snowbirds in FL a few more days as its snowing here.:headache:

My dad is coming home this week too. They were coming home over the weekend and found out it was going to be cold Mon & Tues so they put it off another week. :rolleyes1 I expect them to start staying down there full time soon. They are only home a couple of months before they are back down there.

It's amazing, I am am early bird so I get here around 6:30, she says "I will be there the same time, I need to get as much info out of you as possible." She shows up at 9, sits at a computer and does something- not sure what and doesn't come to my office until 2. I leave at 4. So needless to say we are not getting much done. We still have so much to do.... I guess it won't be my problem:banana:

Thanks for asking,

That is so funny! They are going to get exactly what they deserve.

My DD is 19 and still is a drama queen!:rolleyes1

Same here, our DD is nearly 19 and every bit a drama queen at times. I must say, she seems to be getting better though......:rolleyes1
