Hello all,

phew just finished making the sloppy joe mix for thursdays pot luck at work and I currently have the roast beast marinating in the fridge for supper at Cass's.

Sorry I have been away all weekend but we had Easter with my kids this weekend... they go to Cranbrook every year to visit my ex's parents.. they have this HUGE lot of land and they hide all the easter goodies in the woods. I insist they go... it was always sooooo much fun... one year Opa (grandpa) hid a bike 15 feet up a tree!..LOL could never take that away from them

Our Easter schedual is as follows:
Good Friday my Mother in law host supper (Turkey)
Saturday my sister in law host supper (Ham)
Sunday I make a nice light brunch for everyone at our house! Wii bowling tournament in the afternoon..lol

what about everyone else?

Hi Bernie! If you are ever on your way to Cranbrook and need a stop along the way, let me know. We're 3 hours from Calgary and 1.5 hours from Cranbrook. It would be great to meet you before the cruise.

That would be awsome! unfortunatly my ex takes the kids.. his folks live there...my brother live on vancouver island... been along time since I have gone to Cranbrook...sigh

Hi Chris! It sounds like Samantha and Tianna are going to get along great ...two peas in a pod on this one.

Yeah, Samantha has been eager to write back, but when she is thinking of it, we can't, and when she can, she is doing other things that 9 year olds do.

When Tianna last wrote her, it came to my BlackBerry as we were driving. I let Sammi read it, but then she wanted to try to write back. She was really mad that I wouldn't let her, but I don't quite trust her with my phone yet. It is a full touch screen so I didn't want her to mess up too much, or mess up the phone!

We are flying down the Friday before the cruise and heading straight to the Radisson. We will go to MHSSHP post cruise, then fly home Sunday 11/1, so we will get some park fun.

snazzy! My kids will be soooo embarrased of me after this trip..LOL

I'm still debating about MHSSHP. Do you know how much the tickets are? We have tickets for Universal Studios that we paid $80 for the week for. And tickets for one day at WDW and my parents are going to take the kids to Epcot for one day. Now the kids only have 5 days between cruises. That means two days at WDW and three at Universal that we've already paid for. We're arriving Friday afternoon and going straight to the Raddison and flying back to Calgary on November 8th after my parents and our kids get off the Wonder. I wondering if I should spend the extra money for MNSSHP. Any thoughts?

I think tickets for MNSSHP are about $55 for adults and $50 for kids. We are just going to the party and not buying "regular" tickets. I believe you can get into the MK at 4:00 for the party, then they kick everyone else out by 7:00. The party then goes to about midnight.

I am going to it.. never been to it.. have to try it..lol the cost from last year was around 60 I think...not sure

We are just going to relax getting off the ship. We are looking to stay at Port Orleans so that we have a decent pool, and also water transportation to Downtown Disney. I think we will go there for lunch anyway.

I hear you. Tianna has done a number on Ron's phone more than once. It no longer recognized his writing after she had it. She wanted to write Samantha again tonight but there wasn't time before bed. There is still lots of time for them to write more. You can tell Samantha that Tianna understands what it's like to be poked. She's had to have bloodwork up to seven times a day in the last few months. Not fun.

that sounds real nice.. we are going to relax aswell.. I think we might stay at a value resort.. Sean was thinking of staying off site.. i am pushing for atleast a value resort..lol

Elaine is a value girl, however I sold my father the virtues of the moderate. I mentioned how we are going to be "stuck" at the hotel all day and the moderate would be nicer to relax at, espeically with a nicer pool, water transporation to Downtown Disney, etc. He is cool with it, but Elaine is grumbling a bit. I think once she stays there she will love it and not want to stay anywhere else!

I hear you. Tianna has done a number on Ron's phone more than once. It no longer recognized his writing after she had it. She wanted to write Samantha again tonight but there wasn't time before bed. There is still lots of time for them to write more. You can tell Samantha that Tianna understands what it's like to be poked. She's had to have bloodwork up to seven times a day in the last few months. Not fun.

Elaine is a value girl, however I sold my father the virtues of the moderate. I mentioned how we are going to be "stuck" at the hotel all day and the moderate would be nicer to relax at, espeically with a nicer pool, water transporation to Downtown Disney, etc. He is cool with it, but Elaine is grumbling a bit. I think once she stays there she will love it and not want to stay anywhere else!

oh they are nice... we stayed at the port orleans resort when we were down for the first time.. was very nice.. stay the last day at a value... you can "feel" the difference.. we just have to watch the pennys after 2 weeks on vacation..lol so value it is for us..lol

All we have ever stayed is at values, but I am really excited to give Port Orleans a try.
