I thought they looked about the same age as our youngest grandkids -6 & 3. They're both blondies.

We were so nervous on that cruise. Jay was taking his sweet old time with potty training. We were scared to death that he would be exiled to the mouse ears splash area, but about 5-6 months before sailing he was potty trained and was so happy he could go in the Mickey Pool!

We immediately called my parents and told them, "Jay can go in the Mickey Pool now!"

I guess the ball is in Walt & Di's court since they're the ones traveling.

Good morning Nancy,

My planning stage is right now in the Poconos.

As planning continues, will offer suggestions. If too far for Chris, maybe we can stop by the Salvation Army facilities for lunch. We can meet you at York Beach for Lunch on one of Dan's day off.

That's the enjoyment of retirement and bike riding, meeting people on our adventures...

Most memoriable time on our Milwaukee trip, getting lost and finally meeting MG in the parking lot for that unforgettable "hug". Coupled with the excitement in seeing the MI group around a dinner table. We didn't want it to end, by standing in the parking lot late into the evening...:grouphug:

Walt,

As long as my schedule is free, I can travel a little bit. I have that flexibility on my end. Considering how far you are travelling, I wouldn't want you to come to far out of your way.

Should someone be checking in on you two next week? :rotfl:
No Grandma Edna this time?

No Grandma Edna. She is only the first 2 weeks of June before summer camp starts and the public schools are still in session.

Usually over Easter break we sent him to the Y. We didn't care much for it the last time and with the large amount of vacation days I get, I figured I'd burn a few that week.

Good Morning Everyone!!! I'm so far behind reading. I just have a minute before having to run the kids off to school. My parents sent an email this morning saying that they booked our kids to go with them on the Wonder for the three day cruise, the Thursday after our cruise is over. That means the kids will have some time at the parks in between cruises, a chance to be on another Disney cruise, and my dear hubby and I get three days to ourselves in Orlando. Win ... win for everyone I say. :woohoo:Their email said they "have early dining. There is no more staggered dining, main seating is 5:45". Does anyone know if this is the case with the 7 day cruises too? I don't have time to call now and their email said that they waited on hold for 1 hour and 15 minutes before being able to book. I'm guessing a lot of people are making use of the $99 per person coupon deal for the three day cruises that could be booked starting today.

I hope that everyone is doing well!!! :goodvibes I am soooooo looking forward to our trip in October. It will be neat to meet you all in person.

This is the first I hear of this, sorry. I'm sure someone else knows the answer to this, and I'm interested to find out what it is.

Looking forward to meeting you. If I haven't said so before, I'm Paige and I'm cruising with my DH, Rob. Our three children (DD15, DS13, DS9) are staying home with grandparents because it's too hard to take them out of school.

Does anyone remember the other version of Carousel of Progress? The song went like this.

Now is the time, now is the best time, now is the best time of our lives...

I remember that version!!! :thumbsup2

York Beach sounds great but we can also travel further south if that's better for Chris. I'm not sure when exactly you plan to be in NE, Walt. - I think bike week in Laconia is the end of June. Anyway, Dan's days off are Mondays & Tuesdays - at least that's the way it was last year. Getting togeth as a group would be super but if we have to do 2 separate things so be it.

I am so far behind, I think the last time I checked on was on page 35 on Friday. Don't have time to chat now, just wanted to say HI. A busy weekend of Soccer, though cold, both kids won both of their games.

There is no other sport as far as my kids are concerned. yesterday was the coldest of the two days, it was 37degrees, and a wind blowing from the north. Though our lives are busy, I so love soccer season. Bryce will go from the spring season, he's playing a summer league, and then will start HS soccer in August for school. We wont be done w/soccer until the end of October.
