Well, I've had a mega busy Monday... I'm glad to sit down and relax a while.

Dinner is all cleared away and so I'm taking 10 minutes to have a cuppa.

I do too. Let's hope they do not disappoint us. They scared me last night. I did not think they were going to pull it out. I am not a big Patino fan but he is a good coach.

Don't forget we had an unsuccessful Pitino era up this way with the Celtics. But overall he's had a lot of success at the college level - hopefully he'll have a little more!

Well, I am home for the day. Elaine and I did some work related errands this afternoon but now are home waiting for the kids to get home.

I picked up a few DVD's to watch tonight. Anyone see Tropic Thunder or W?

Three Oakland,CA police officers were killed yesterday, and 1 has been declared brain dead. One of them was a former co-worker of Sean's.

is going to Disney World for Easter break

Her first time ever! And for their son who's 16. I think it's her husband's first
also!

I cannot believe how excited I am for them!

You'd think I was the one going!

I told her she HAS to go on the Disboards now

I can't wait to hear how she likes it!

We're getting together for her birthday next week to chat about it all....

To our CA bobers--it's so frustrating, isn't it? The "punks' rights" always seem to supercede the rights of the law abiding citizens.

The whole move toward entitlement and away from responsibility is becoming more and more the norm!

Good morning everyone. I was kind of on the DIS last night but was getting frustrated with how slowly things were loading, so I just relaxed and watched Dirty Dancing on one of the premium channels. "Nobody puts Baby in a corner" I'm a movie quote kind of guy.

I was just telling someone the other day how I have noticed an increase in loud, vulgar behavior outside of my building downtown lately. I sit in my office and can hear people yelling outside at one another, dropping the F-bomb every other word. On Friday, I was pulling out of my parking lot and just noticed 3 or 4 hoodlums hanging out in front of the bank across the street. The building next to mine has been "tagged". Fortunately mine hasn't. I am wondering if the gangs remember maybe that The Salvation Army perhaps gave them Christmas when they were kids.

The library is brand new and is directly across the street from our building too, and often times people block my driveway/lot to drop off books. If we politely ask them to move their cars they will say, "I am just dropping off books, so #$# off." Wonderful word we live in...

Well, I am off to the gym for my Monday workout. Talk to everyone later.

My husband went down the street the other day because a guy was listening to music on his front porch and the lyrics were completely in appropriate for general listening - and since we could hear it IN our house the equivalent of two houses away, we considered that general listening. Mack let him know it was his business, of course, what he chose to listen to, but that he needed to remember we have lots of kids in the neighborhood who don't necessarily need to be getting that sort of influence or education while outside playing. He was cool about it and turned it way down. There is a saying - What one generation tolerates, the next embraces - that has a lot of truth in it!

I saw Tropic Thunder in the theater. I can't remember the last time I laughed that hard at a movie. Although a lot of the humor is politically incorrect, it's still hysterical. There's even someone playing Wii See if you can spot Tom Cruise.
