I think the difference is if they box or bag your order. In a box your food is easier to eat in the car, in a bag it stays hotter longer. Just a guess on my part. I've wondered that very same thing.

BTW Your daughter has grown so much! WOW!

Thank you Steve. So they actually bag your food. I have never seen their food in bags. It has always been given to us in a box. So if they bag it to the wrap the burgers differently, because they are uncovered on the top.

Here are some pics from my Grandma's party this weekend. She turned 100 today.

Great pictures Jeff. Yes your grandmother is beautiful. Sue looks great and Logan is a real cutie. Oh yeh, you look great. Can't wait to see you all on the ship. Diane

I LOVE In and Out Burger. :yay: They don't have any back here in Virginia. I used to go there all the time when we lived in California. I don't think they had them in Arizona back when I lived there (1985-1988). They put the food in different packaging depending on whether you plan to eat it in the car or take it home to eat. If you plan to eat in the car, you get a sort of tray rather than everything just thrown in the bag. :thumbsup2

Thank you this helped alot. They just started building here withing the past 8 or so years. The first one that opened was in Scottsdale and people would drive from all over the state to get to it. The drive thru lines where out into the street. They had to get cones to make a drive thru that winded its way through the parking lot. Hmmm wait it minute. It has been more then 8 years it was 10 years ago. I remember going there and waiting an hour in the drive thru for food after spending the day with my college friends. Since then they are popping up every where. They are actually one of the few companies I know right now actually building let alone opening new locations. Scott would like to know what parts of Calif. and Az. you lived in.

Jeff, I love all the pictures you all look like you had a good time.

Jeff--you all look great in the photos! Your grandma is gorgeous! And that Lille Logan is not so little anymore.:goodvibes

Thanks. Grandma is a great woman. You should see the pics of when she was young. The best thing is she is still "all there". She is sharp as a tack, knows all that is going on in the world, and will argue politics with me. My aunt on my mom's side (this is my Dad's mom who turned 100) died last Tuesday. She use to live in the home my Grandma is now in. One of her daughters was in helping with mass this Sunday. Now my aunt has not been at the home for over 2 years. My Grandma saw her passing in the hall and remember exactly who she was and gave her condolences. This is someone she only knew through vaguely through her daughter-in-law (my mom, who passed away almost 7 years ago). I tell you, if I ever make it to 100, let alone 75 (that is when the men in my family usually pass away - my dad was only 63 though), I hope I'm in the same mental capability as my Grandma. She is an Amazing woman.

And No, Logan isn't so little anymore. I have pictures from his first wrestling meet to put up too. I'll try and get those up today or tomorrow.

Very nice pictures of your grandmother! She looks very fit, certainly not that old! Hope I look that well when I'm her age!

Nancy K

Thanks Nancy. You and me both on being like her if we get to that age. I knew this day would come, she has alway just kept on going. She has a great outlook on life and take each day as it comes. She won't judge anyone and will also not play favorites or deny blame if the person in the wrong is in the family. Very honest woman. As I said before, she is Amazing.

What a great milestone! I am sure it was great to celebrate with her. Last spring our whole family got together to celebrate my grandmother's 80th birthday. It was a good time.

The last "party" we had for her was at 90 (we just went for lunch at 95). She still had her favorite sister there. I overheard her telling one of the guests at the party (I think it was a nephew of hers) that she wished Dolly was there. That made me a little sad to hear. She was happy with the size of the group and she was very comfortable with the setting. She didn't want a big celebration, but I think she was pleased with this one.

She still has one sibling, a brother, who was actually born between my uncle and my dad. All three within a year. My grandma's mom got sick and died when he was young, so she basically raised him too. 3 kids all within a year of each other. He was at the party. Grandma looks better for her age than he did for his.

Thanks Diane. My grandmother and Logan have a real close bond too. Everyone comments on it. She isn't close to anyone like she is with him. Not sure what it is, but you can tell it right away.

And what's this "waiting until the ship" to see us? Not riding with Walt this summer? :confused3 :rolleyes1

Ok, for the BOBalosers out there....or anyone else!

I need some help getting started again. MG's new challenge on the Yahoo group has me thinking. So, here's an off-topic question for the day:

List one healthy meal or recipe that is a good "stand-by" meal - one you always have the stuff to make or can throw together in a jiffy:

Here's mine:

Super Easy Chicken

4-5 boneless,skinless, chicken breasts
1 packet dry italian seasoning mix (like you'd use to make your own italian salad dressing)
1 cup water or chicken broth (I use broth)

Throw it all in the crockpot and cook all day on low.

I will have to try it? Do you have a weight loss group? I would love to join. I need some motivation.

My mother just turned 89 last week & my dad will be 89 in July. One of my grandmothers lived into her mid 90's & the other was just 2 weeks shy of her 99th. Since we shared the same birthday my goal is to beat her & make it to 99!!!!

I'll have to think about that. Meanwhile I've jotted down your recipe. We eat chicken a lot & it sounds like a good easy variation. Dan will like it too since he won't have to cook on the grill!
