Morning all.
We had a good evening yesterday. Since the kids were sick we didn't go out to eat for our anniversary. The kids and I made dinner for Scott. Here are some photos from the dinner.

Here is our hostess and waiter.

They made the table so pretty.

You can see our waiter didn't do much "waiting".:lmao:

Hi Lori :wave2: , congratulations to you and Scott. Ditto on what everyone else said. You have a lovely family. I often reflect on how great mine is and how lucky I am to have them. I hope all is well with you guys. (I think I see some Mickey salt n pepper shakers on that table) :magnify:

Our 15th is coming up on July 1st. That is the day that we arrive in WDW and I am formulating some plans. I have to be a bit cryptic here just in case Beth actually reads this. (Although I don't think she has had time to be on the DIS for a while) We spent our honeymoon at the Grand Floridian Resort in the Sago Cay building. I don't remember the exact room number though. Maybe it will be shown in some old photos. Anyway, I was going to see what kind of magical experience I could put together. I'm sure there is someone at Disney that can help with such requests. :goodvibes

Have a good day everyone. :yay:

Matthew

Good Morning Folks......

I see I'm falling way behind on this thread and won't be able to keep up, especially with us leaving tomorrow night and I won't have internet service at our Florida home........:guilty:

Anyhoo, Lina and I are getting ready to head over to Riverwinds to get a morning workout in. Hazel is dropping my laptop off at Best Buy this morning, so hopefully when we get back from vacation, it "WILL" be fixed and ready to go.

Talk to y'all later..........:wave2:

Have fun Andy. Best wishes on the computer outcome!

All the pictures were great. That was a great Idea!

DISmeet at the Quiet Cove pool!!!! Hands down!

Although, I think I might try the rainforest room this time around...didn't even find the spa last time! I scheduled Pete for a massage, but I never made it there.

I'm really becomming bummed that I missed that DISmeet!

One of my favorite things to do in addition to NOTHING but sitting by the pool is to wander around the ship. This time we are hoping our kids stay in the clubs for a bit so we get some Quiet Cove time, but if not, Elaine and I will be taking turns with the kids at the Mickey pool. Our kids say they are ready to "upgrade" to the Goofy Pool, but I will believe that when I see it.

Yep, Stuart made the comment that he was going to try the Goofy pool this time but They're both antsy as heck to get back to the Mickey pool.

Well, I am heading out. I will check back when I get to the office later this morning.

Oh, before I forget...
Andy, you, Hazel, and Lina have a great time on vacation.

I don't know how much time I will get on the DIS so I had better wish you well now!

Question of the Day

What's your favorite activity for a sea day? 1st Timers: Which activity are you thinking about?

My answer: Rainforest.:thumbsup2

I enjoyed the adult pool meet, and sneeking in a "stealing" cakes from the coffee place (cant remember its name) with Suz:rotfl2: .... good job Brenda isnt reading this:rolleyes1

I'm looking forward to an extra sea day... I might have time to explore the ship more:thumbsup2 ... I was too excited last time to notice anything:rotfl2:

Only stealing if you take them and you should have paid for them or were required to buy something from the Cove Cafe. Neither is required, so have at them. ;)

I've never been in there. So, the food in there has no cost, but the drinks do?

Correct. There was discussions before about the treats in the case. Some said it is only for those who purchase drinks there. That is not the case. There is no sign up regarding that and Suz even asked while we were on the Repo. The person in the Cove Cafe said they were free and for anyone. :thumbsup2

Good to know. I'm hoping to check out the Cove Cafe since we won't have our kids with us.....

Thats good to know. What kind of goodies do they have in there?

Not sure what all you can get there, but Suz can't drink coffee. I'm sure she can get tea and I could get a hot chocolate. We may stop in there as well.

If not, you'll see us in and out for some chocolate croissants. :thumbsup2

Different kinds of sweets/pastries. Not sure what else. I'm sure someone has a picture of the case.

Like I said above, the chocolate croissants are the best.

My week is just getting better day by day. :rolleyes1

Hazel just called from Best Buy, the motherboard on my laptop is "fried" :sad2: but she and Lina have picked out a new laptop for me, :upsidedow and the files from my old laptop are going to be transferred to my new laptop. :thumbsup2 I will lose the Print Shop program I had in the old laptop, so the wedding invitations couldn't be saved anyhow.

I also found out this morning that a vote was taken and the public works department has decided to give back our 3.5% raise that we got this year as a concession to the township's tax troubles. This is scheduled to take effect the first pay period in April. :sad2:

Life is good.........

Great news on the computer Andy. Getting a new one is always fun, but better if they can transfer most if not all of your files!

That sounds good. I tend to have a sweet tooth at certain times of the day.

Hazel just called me back letting me know I can pick up my new laptop after 6pm today!!! :)

I have never been there either- not a coffee drinker, but may have to try the sweets.
