I've just updated my trip report with info on our visit to Raglan Road.

Oh the wonders of snow in the South! Of course, snow in the South is always accompanied by ice, and it certainly seems we always have a tree fall when there is ice. This time it fell on my daughter's dog's house. He is an outside dog. We had a heater in his house for him, and the heater saved him. It held the tree off him and kept the tree from taking down the whole roof. Lots of wood is broken and splinters inside his house, but he is okay and inside our house now. Mack has a job ahead of him as I am very allergic to Hershey, and here we are headed into allergy season. I guess some of our fun money for the cruise is going toward fixing the doghouse. At least the tree didn't fall on our house this time. Let's hope no more trees fall!

Sorry to hear about the pooch's house - he must have been really scared! :scared1:

Enjoy your snow day tomorrow! :woohoo: Looks like I'll be working from home - the snow is coming down at a pretty good clip and it's not supposed to stop until tomorrow afternoon!

Enjoy your snow everyone. I still have two feet of the stuff. Just got back from my youngests hockey game. They are in playoffs and are leading the series, 2 games to 1 against a stronger team.

He is scared of thunder and such, so I can only imagine what he thought when it happened! I hope you keep your power and enjoy the snow!

I CAN'T WAIT to hear how someone could get into trouble on the PeopleMover, unless you didn't keep tentacles inside the vehicle??? :confused3 :confused3

I still don't know where Casey's is.

Here's wishing you 2 a safe & fun trip. Seems like you're always going somewhere!

I should add to Dan's post - we ARE going south in a couple of weeks - South Portland!!

N

Sorry I never answered your question where Casey's is. It is on the Main Street on the left near Crystal Palace on the way to the castle. It is on the corner after all the shops. Diane

Yep - we put him back in his mommy's (our daughters) room. Even though she isn't there, it is where he slept for years. I'm pretty sure he thinks this is a great deal!

:grouphug: To all having to go through nasty weather. I wish I could say that I am sending you nice warm weather but it is raining here right now. Not complaining about the rain though, we definately need it.

We had a pretty day here today. It was alittle chilly and windy. Grandkids and I went to the zoo for 4 hours. It was a fun time. :cool1:  :cheer2: Diane

a new week and a fresh start with Ellis:woohoo: . I hope this week brings more smiles and less arguements:headache:

I've loaded up on painkillers so I'm off to tackle those darned leaves in the back garden once he's at school. I have plants I want to cut back etc and tidy up but I might have difficulty as most of them are quite low ... low = bending = pain:rotfl:

Have a great day everybody:dance3:

May your working week pass quickly and your leisure time pass slowly:goodvibes

Welcome Back Mike and Robin.......

Hazel, Lina and I leave next Wednesday 3/11 for a week in the Florida sun and warmth!!! :thumbsup2

Morning All.........

We have several inches of sn*w on the ground and at the moment we have a break in the action, but according to the forecast, we have more sn*w on the way, it is just to the south of us right now near Washington, DC and Baltimore, MD.

After dinner last evening, the four of us came back to the house and Bryan stayed and chatted with us for about two hours before heading home. He also made us a plate of homemade brownies, so we nibbled on some brownies as we chatted. Bryan is such a nice young man, we had fun chatting with him, as he did with us, and Lina's face just beams when Bryan is around. I can't remember when I have seen her so happy........:goodvibes :goodvibes :goodvibes

:cold: We have a current windchill of 9* this morning, guess I had better bundle up when I go to dig out the car and driveway in a little bit. :cold:
