Finished grading all I can. I just went out to catch snowflakes on my tongue - these are the biggest snowflakes I have ever seen! It is coming down hard too.

DId you take any pictures? Ds says the highway was awful only going about 20 mines an hour. He left Atlanta at noon and is still not back in Tallahassee.

Yum! I'm eating snow cream sitting in front of a beautiful fire. Don't even give me grief about it being the first snow and not eating it; here, we have to use whatever snow we get!

What is snow cream??? I have had maple syrup in snow before.

Snow, sugar (I used Splenda), cream or half and half, and vanilla. Mix it all up till creamy! Yum! I'll try to post pictures on Photobucket then get one over here.

Well,, of course the pictures don't do it justice. Right now, it is still snowing hard and the wind is blowing such that the snow looks like it is going horizontally. No school here tomorrow - word is already out!

I think most of you will be sleeping in tomorrow enjoying your snow day, hope ever one is safe and warm. I will be training one of the controllers from Dallas who wants to understand all we do. He will definately slow our month end close down....

Oh thanks! When we moved here, we thought we'd be here three years at most. That was 12.5 years and two additions ago!

They should be home by now but i've heard the weather along I-95 is really bad so i hope he's ( i mean they ) are safe.

Just popping in to say

I've been so for 3 days now. I caught Kira's cold that she brought back with her from the wedding last weekend. Thank goodness for grandmas because I have been in bed for the last 2.5 days now

Then about 3 hours ago, I got the cleaning bug Did 4 loads of laundry, my dusting, cleaned all 3 bathrooms and a whole bunch of odds and ends

Now I think I am going to pass out

Hope everyone is doing alright! We miss the dawg and tart girl

We left Applebee's just as the sn*w started falling here about 6pm. Had a very nice dinner, it was nice having Lina and Bryan along.

Don't even want to think about tomorrow morning. At least I don't have to be at work by 6am like Bryan does.

While we were at dinner, Bryan got a call from work letting him know that he will be working overtime tomorrow, lucky him.

They should be home by now but i've heard the weather along I-95 is really bad so i hope he's ( i mean they ) are safe.

Oh the wonders of snow in the South! Of course, snow in the South is always accompanied by ice, and it certainly seems we always have a tree fall when there is ice. This time it fell on my daughter's dog's house. He is an outside dog. We had a heater in his house for him, and the heater saved him. It held the tree off him and kept the tree from taking down the whole roof. Lots of wood is broken and splinters inside his house, but he is okay and inside our house now. Mack has a job ahead of him as I am very allergic to Hershey, and here we are headed into allergy season. I guess some of our fun money for the cruise is going toward fixing the doghouse. At least the tree didn't fall on our house this time. Let's hope no more trees fall!
