Thanks Joanne. I wish it would turn into a full blown cold or just go away. It's just irritating.Heather- glad to hear it's getting better

We are going to DC for a day or so this summer. We are driving to Georgia to visit Elaine's Aunt and Uncle, so on the way home we will stop in DC. The kids are excited, since they are learning about all of the President's in school. It will be fun to go to the Lincoln Memorial, walk past the White House, Washington Monument, etc. We won't stay too long, just enough for the kids to get a little something out of it. It will also break up the trip coming home, and I do have some vacation time to spare.I'm in a good mood tonight. I just lowered our stay in DC this spring by $90. Gotta love when the hotels go on sale. Kinda like at WDW.
So Lori, are you going to come up to DC when we're in? I was talking to Paige about coming up too. Maybe we can do a mini-DIS meet there.![]()
Well, obviously the Magic, but in park, I do love that monorail. Ever since I was a kid, I have loved riding on it. On our last visit, on our last day as we were heading to the airport, we got to sit in the front with the driver/captain whatever they are called. That was a lot of fun. He honked the horn to the resort monorail as it went by us.Todays Question of the Day is brought to you by Kathy:
What's your favorite mode of Disney transportation? (monorail, boat, etc)
My answer: I'm being creative here and answering The Disney Magic.(Otherwise the monorail).

It was our first cruise and we were too chicken to take a non-DCL excursion that late in the day. We heard about that bridge and decided against it. Karen, remember Jo and Danny (Perdidobay)? They took a taxi and went to Maho. They brought back some amazing pics & video too.![]()

There is a website I've been to where you can track flights. You can also check an airport code for all the flights coming to it on a given day. Once we get to September, I'll take a look at it on Tuesdays and see if anyone else is flying in.
It is a pretty cool website. Shows which planes are flying in the area (landing, taking off, and flying over). You can also track the flight on its route. Did you know on a normal take off, a plane gets to its cruising altitude in 20 min? I never knew it was that quick. Seems longer.
I'd agree with you on this one MG!!!![]()

Hi Lori, glad to see you stopping by the thread tonight. Nice pic. Never drove to FL though, so I can't relate. Too long of a drive for me.
