The kids had their own car last time and what I wouldn't have given to hear what was going on over there instead. Well, just a few months ago Tony told me that he taped the whole thing! I watched it and all I heard was....
"Oh my God...look, look look"!!! It was almost like a broken record except it came from all 4 voices. Too cool!

The tram at the Orlando airport
and
Heading into the Old Port Royale at Caribbean Beach Resort right after check in.

Walking down mainstreet looking at the castle in awe like it is the first time. I love watching my family and all the other families excitement to be there. The balloons, the people, the performers, stepping in the trolly tracks (at least once), the shops, just everything makes mainstreet so amazing.

Oh yeah, those signs! I forgot about them. I get goose bumps when I see them.

I love the signs. Also for us the signs for South of the Border! That is always a sign that we are on our way.

Good morning everyone. I will be around for about a half hour this morning, then I am off to a breakfast meeting with some friends. We meet monthly at Denny's at a central location and just talk sports and vent to each other about stuff. It is great to just hang out with the guys for a couple of hours over a "Grand Slam"

I'm done here tonight too. I have some stuff to book for the cruise. Talk to you all tomorrow.

Definitely when we fly in, the tram at Orlando Airport. I love looking out at the gardens, palms and ponds. I know I am in Florida when I see that.

When I drive, its hitting the Florida Welcome Center. I know, I know, it is still a few hours from WDW or PC, but its great seeing that sign, getting free OJ, and stocking up on brochures to look at the last couple of hours. The excitement only builds.

You know, I don't think I have ever seen a picture of that where there was a gloomy or cloudy sky. I am not suggesting it is never stormy, quite the contrary! I have seen and been in some particularly potent thunderstorms at WDW. It's just people don't take pics of the castle under cloudy conditions.

Speaking of thunderstorms...In 1996, we had just arrived to WDW and went on the Haunted Mansion. It was started to cloud up a bit when we went in. When we came out the exit it was absolutely pouring! We made a mad dash to the counter service restaurant just up the hill in Liberty Square and had our supper. The name of the restaurant is escaping me at the moment.

From that point on, my mom kept two small umbrellas in her purse for the remainder of the week.

Cruise-related question alert!!!

I emailed a AAA representative in January about switching my ressie to AAA, and she seemed to indicate I would have to cancel my current ressie and rebook with AAA, so it would not be a good deal. So, I am not doing that.

I also see that Dreams Unlimited has a banner up saying "email us if you have a DCL cruise booked" to see if you can save money or get an OBC. At this point in the game, is it too late to transfer my ressie to Dreams or another TA? Just thinking of the OBC...

I think that's exactly what DU wants you to do Jen - it certainly couldn't hurt to get a quote from them. I don't think there is any obligation. I'm sure Numbers Boy will weigh in on this, though
