My parents used to do the exact same thing! Only no ninja turtles - they hadn't been invented yet!

No, I don't mind. I was just a little overwhelmed by all of the girl talk, weddings, babies, scrapbooking, etc. I had no common ground!

She brought home the envelope today. Not sure what day it arrived. Thank you sooooo much. She was so excited to tell me she got a card from some kids going on the cruise with her.
Just so you all know she got a total of 40 cards from 34 different states. And that's just Julia. So thank all of you all that helped her out!

April 25th - Saturday afternoon game - Yankees @ Red Sox

She brought home the envelope today. Not sure what day it arrived. Thank you sooooo much. She was so excited to tell me she got a card from some kids going on the cruise with her.
Just so you all know she got a total of 40 cards from 34 different states. And that's just Julia. So thank all of you all that helped her out!

Thanks! I came home and was not too happy. The nurse for our doctor called him back today and without even hearing the new symptoms, told him a new medicine had been called in. The directions on the medicine - Take as directed. I called our doctor immediately when I got home today and put in an on call message. She called back promptly, spoke to Mack, and wants to see him when the office opens tomorrow. She knows he is really sick. I think the nurse was just trying to "handle" it and since they can prescribe certain meds now, the doctor didn't even know what med he had been given. I am not happy about that, but one thing is for sure - since the doctor knows this happened now, she will take care that it never does again. I just want my husband to get well - he is rarely sick, and when he is, it is major if it lasts more than 2 days. This is going on a week since the doctor and was 6 weeks before that of "Oh it's just a cold." He can't do hardly anything and not give out completely. This man needs some help.

It was just as bad as it was on Friday, windchills in the teens most of the day. I came home with my lungs burning again today. I read over 300 meters today, they were all outside meters so I didn't even get into anyone's home where I could warm up every now and then. Tomorrow I have the same schedule(all outside meters), but it isn't supposed to be quite as windy, which will help some.

When I turned the meter books in before leaving for the day, I did find out that my vacation for next month was "approved", that made my day!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats on the approval, Andy! That's always a good feeling!!!

It's been a few days since I've checked the board - not even going to try to catch up! Way too many posts for that. OUr latest snowstorm is over - it left almost a foot here & up to 2' in other parts of the state. Some of our family members lost power & have it back, others are still waiting. We didn't lose ours. This winter will surely go down as one of the snowiest on record.

Amazing Race fans - were you as sad as I was when the southern couple got eliminated? That poor lady mad me want to cry when she got lost.

DH is trying to gets tickets for the Red Sox vs Atlanta in June, the braves are making you go into a lottery. What happen ed to the good old days when you could buy tickets with out al lthe scalpers.

15 years ago, I got into an argument with a scalper at Yankee Stadium. His tickets were trash, I called him on his false advertisement, and he didn't like it. This past summer I saw the same guy, scalping tickets on River Avenue outside of Stan's.

We just opened our Wii fit tonight and we are loving it. i love yoga. I stink at hula hooping. Scott is so funny doing that one. He loves the ski jump. Alex is the queen at Hula Hooping so far.

15 years ago, I got into an argument with a scalper at Yankee Stadium. His tickets were trash, I called him on his false advertisement, and he didn't like it. This past summer I saw the same guy, scalping tickets on River Avenue outside of Stan's.

We went last July, we paid over 60.00 a ticket from stub hub for the last row!!! insane. When we were teen agers my dads office had box seats behind 3rd base, we went all the time. What I would give now for those tickets
