NASDAQ below 1,400.
S&P below 750.

Not good.

I am trying to be very optomistic that it is going to turn around soon but even I am getting a little worried. I thought that the negative press was making the downturn in the market a self fulfilling prophacy. See I really did not sleep through psycholoy in college.

Hey Andy is here. How was it walking around today Andy? It's really windy and brisk here.

It was just as bad as it was on Friday, windchills in the teens most of the day. I came home with my lungs burning again today. I read over 300 meters today, they were all outside meters so I didn't even get into anyone's home where I could warm up every now and then. Tomorrow I have the same schedule(all outside meters), but it isn't supposed to be quite as windy, which will help some.

When I turned the meter books in before leaving for the day, I did find out that my vacation for next month was "approved", that made my day!!!!!!!!!!

After dinner I think I am going to make a fire in the fireplace. I am making Baked Stuffed Shells. After that, we are having family Wii night. A couple of hours of Ravving Rabids, Wii Sport, Carnival Games, and RockBand.

Good to hear your vacation was approved. The only vacation I was worried about being approved was the cruise and that was approved last month. Now if anything comes up that is mandatory attendance, I will be excused due to pre approved vacation.

I am a little worried about my budget at work. A decent percentage of our operating income comes from endowments and their earnings move with the market. Our semi annual earnings will be released in 6 weeks or so, so we should have an idea how things are looking.

Our endowment pull is down about 1/2 for the upcoming year based on the Jan 31 figures.

More so, I'm concerned about donations since ours come from big corporations and CEO's. The stimulus and tax plans won't be helping them at all. I don't foresee this turning around until at lease 2010.
