She wont be. She will be alittle older and understand alittle more. I probably will sound like Rob's mother. You better get her out more often and practice with her. I guess that is the Gramma in me. Try her favorite movies in the DVD player or her favorite music. Bring along her favorite toys. You should see my car it is still full of favorite toys and books for the grandkids. (what a mess) I guess I was lucky my kids and grandkids used to sleep in the car whenever we traveled. If they did not sleep they would watch a movie, read, write, or play with their toys. Asiah still sleeps in the car whenever we are on our way to the gym or basketball. Erika my youngest daughter too likes to sleep in the car. She does not like to ride in the car so she sleeps. Diane

I used to break the trip up by having little gifts for the kids to open ever 100 miles. Coloring books or ninja turtles (that tells my DS age) or even a book with the tape. It was before DVD players. Last year when we went to Fl DS asked about every 100 miles where's my surprise. I still had a few things for them. I guess they will never be to old for traditions.

Kathy, my sister called me over lunch. She wants to us to take our dad to Yankee Stadium for the 2nd game (April 17th) for his birthday. I guess she got a decent deal of stubhub and wanted to make sure I was cool with it. I just hope it isn't too cold or we have those notorious April showers.

Wow, lucky you! Sounds like a party! They are playing in Fenway on my birthday, so I guess I'm not going :sad1:

My parents used to do the exact same thing! Only no ninja turtles - they hadn't been invented yet! :)

That sounds so nice. :thumbsup2 We will not be making our yearly visit since Megan will be taking classes this summer and working at UPS. She is saving what few days she has off for the BOB cruise. :sad2: She said last night that UPS is sucking her soul out. :scared: She is such a little drama queen. Cass I hate to inform you that Kira will probably still be having the melt downs into her 20's. :rolleyes1

SO does Megan have any 'clue' as to what's going to happen ;) on the BOB cruise???

Too funny Leisha!! But at 20, I can just ignore her :rolleyes1 :lmao: :rotfl2: Or at least..run away and hide in my room

Both of them are counter service only, no reservations.
Thanks, I will have to remember that, but I am sure these are the things we will all be discussing on the cruise the last couple of days.

It should be a good time if it materializes. She will let me know by Wednesday she said. If I don't get my ticket plan, I am going to try to get there 2 or 3 times this season.

We love Earl of Sandwich in DD.

I will definitely have to advise the family about this. Although, it is always kind of shocking when you first get off a cruise and see prices on the menu. :scared1:

Thats too bad about not making your annual pilgrimage to Yankee Stadium. I can totally understand though. Before my last cruise, we just couldn't afford to go that season. However, a week and a half before our cruise, one of my friends called me and told me he had three box seats in the loge level and I could go as long as I took his daughters. He was having serious medical problems and couldn't go. We had a good time, but the Yankees lost it in the 9th inning. Mariano was hurt and Scott Proctor couldn't nail the save.

Wow...now there are some ramdom facts that you just couldn't make up. I had to re-read the ballet one..I thought it said you used to dance with NY City Ballet over 20 years ago:lmao:

Good morning everyone!

I hate to be the bearer of bad news this Monday morning but we will not be cruising with you fine folks this October. We are pushing our trip to December instead and probably just trying to fit in a 3-night cruise.

My apologies as we were looking forward to meeting everyone! :goodvibes

I'll always be a FOB. :lovestruc

That's a shame Melody....but hope its not because of bad news. Don't forget...don't be a stranger to the BOB thread. Any chance you might finish you're trip report?:thumbsup2

Question of the day...(Thanks Heather)

What has become a personal or family tradition for your trips to WDW, even though some people might think it corny?

My answer: A Nathan's hot dog at MCO and Olde Towne in Kissimmee.:cutie:

Riding the Carossel.

I hope in a good way :confused3

Not a clue. :rolleyes1 He will not give me any details either. I have a few months to get it out of him.

Good for him. Has Tommy started calling him by his real first name yet??? :lmao:

I know you're asking Jeff, but if I can offer my 2 cents worth, we love The Earl of Sandwich at DTD. They have Roast Beef smoothies too!!:goodvibes

We've eaten there in 2007 and loved it.

I hope in a good way :confused3

He is now refered to as "hey you" so we are making progress.:lmao: He is calling him by the right name except to Megan which makes her mad. It is no wonder she is a drama queen with Tommy teasing her all the time.

I loved your 25 things. You are a very facinating person!:worship:
