I got my first lot of wages today

It was only a little bit and they taxed me waaaay too much (gotta get that sorted) but its my first wages in years!

You should tell them like my DS did on his first job. He told his manager that he wasn't going to pay taxes until he got a real job. After the guy stopped laughing hyterically he told him sorry.

Well, guess who got sent home from work? Yup, me. Seems like I have a horrible case of pink eye. I have a Dr appt this morning to see what's going on. I'm wondering if it isn't allergy related since I've had this before. Last time I had it, it went away after a few hours. Not this time....

Since this is very contagious, no one at work wanted me there. And since it's hard to see this screen, I'll talk to y'all later.

When Brian got home from work last night, and found out Lina was feeling under the weather, he came over to bring Lina "one" of her Valentine's Day gifts early. Brian nearly had all three of us in tears when Lina opened the package and found out what was inside. Brian told Lina he had a few surprises in store for her this Saturday. I can't wait to find out what they are.

He is a keeper!

Here at WDW they are offering 40% off next stay if booked before checkout. I'm thinking of changing from the Raddisson in October to Wilderness lodge for my pre-cruise stay.

That sounds like a great deal! I think with that, I would have to upgrade from a value to a moderate or deluxe.

The Tax Man Cometh!!!

Speaking of which, our State Income Tax Refund was deposited into our checking account this morning, I made another payment towards our cruise, it's now half paid for!!!

Wow! - well done Andy - half paid for is brilliant! - all we've paid for so far is the deposit ... no idea where the rest of its coming from

Thanks Karen! No, he never did say what kind of testing just that he was making the arrangements to have it done.

It will probably be skin pricks then. Its not painful but not that nice either. They put a tiny needle and tap it onto the skin. They will put an allergen that everyone reacts to as a gauge against the things they are testing. This will automatically come up ina red mark... it wouldon everybody. They'll then do the same for the things they are testing for...ie nuts etc

Ellis didnt like it done... .... have some piriton ready for when its all over and maybe take something that might distract her. The trouble is after the first needle prick she'll know what the rest will feel like ... prepare yourself... Ellis was rather loud in voicing his opinions

Went to Ellis' parents evening tonight ... not the best

Apparantly my child only participates in class if something interests him. Otherwise he does the bare minimum ...... like I dont know that already

We've just had a "sit down" type chat... I doubt if it will do any good... he's as stubborn as a mule (no idea where he gets that from!)

Thanks guys, but I feel just fine, it's just my eyes that don't. Most of the cloudiness is gone now and I got some quick working antibiotics for them. The Dr called it acute conjunctivitis. I have a follow up on Saturday morning but should be fine to return to work on Monday.

Now I have to run around the house and disinfect it. Chuck's a bit of a germaphobe and loves his lysol wipes.

Yeah, I'm sure she will not be happy! I am totally shocked that she didn't FREAK at the hospital and her doctor when they touched her cus normally she does freak

I had those same tests done when I was 21 and I didn't like them

Anyone else watching Battlestar Galatica?

I don't watch it, but caught a glimpse of one of the Actors. Vice President Zarek is played by Richard Hatch. I said to Rick that I was sure that he was in the original series.

After a bit of searching Wiki came up trumps. Yes he had previously portrayed Captain Apollo, a character on the original Battlestar Galactica series of the late 1970s.
