Well, I escaped the axe today....they laid off 50 people at my company. I was not one of them, however, there is talk of more layoffs to come as they do some "restructuring".

Sigh....it's hard not to worry all the time....

So with all this talk of upgrades I have to admit I would love to be bumped up for my first cruise.. if it was just Sean and I going I would have spent the same amount as now and gotten a verandah (drool). I am having high hopes of getting something because I booked in may and with the fuel surcharge thing everyone else rebooked.. so maybe...perhaps... I hope...lol but I will still be just as thrilled to be there no matter where we end up..lol

But if Jeff is right and everything is filling up.. I might be just outta luck huh?..lol

Nobody ever knows how DCL does their upgrades so there's no way of knowing. People make assumptions on past history but really, no one knows the logic behind it. Based on past history though, you have the best shot at it

Just got home from school to find my patio window has been smashed - its a BIG pane of glass. .. $200 exceess on our insurance policy .. I think it was one of the kids from the school as it looks like a stone has hit it from over the fence

I've had enough.. if the opcean was closer I'd do a "Reggie Perrin" and disappear

I will have to think too Nancy. Well I am off to school with grandkids. I will volunteer in the library putting books back and then to lunchroom to help the little kiddies. While I am at lunch I will eat lunch with Elijah and Asiah. They like me to bring them something on Wednesday. They don't like this Mexican food day. Walt has less than 3 weeks of work left. That's good news for now at least Jen I too am having a hard time not worrying about Al's job and how much longer he may have it. He is off the rest of the week. Hopefully the next house they will be working on will be ready on Mon.
