Forgot one birdie pic - although it is the same as one of the ones I posted above.

Of course, there was the typical Iquana on the grounds. This one was by the pool.

I only have one clear picture of the Rat-Rabbit (weird cross breading down there :rotfl2: ). Actually they say it is in the Rabbit family, but the face on this thing looks like a rat. It moves around like a rabbit though.

I have tons of pictures of the Racoon-Monkeys too. They say they are part of the Monkey family (they live in the trees), but they have some features that look like Racoons. Suz looked up the real names so I'll have to find that email and post them. I think our names are better though. :rotfl:

These things love fruit. You throw down a piece of melon and 50 (no lie) would come running over. People would be feeding them out of their hands.

How about some wildlife pictures from around the resort? Here are some of the birds we saw. Gotta love the 12x zoom on the camera - these were not that close to us.

Oh wow...what are the blue ones...look like a cross between a blue jay and magpie,

I'll try to organize some more pictures of the grounds as well as some miscellaneous shots from around the pool and of us. But after seeing some of the pics, I think I'd be dead if I post them here. :rotfl2:

Looks like a squirrel without a tail.

That one I know (thanks to Suz' email).

It is a Yucatan Jay.

The orange one is a Streaked-Backed Oriole.

The last one was obviously a woodpecker.

They had a bunch of others, but not as nice as these.

Looks like this one in Aruba

I'll have to dig through my pictures. I have one of a Blue Iguana/Lizard in Aruba. It was cool.

The biggest one I've ever seen was in Ixtapa-Zihuatanejo. It had to be well over 6'.

They look like some kind of Lemur.

It is actually called a White-Nosed Coati (again, thanks to Suz' email).

She a mind of information...we'll need her on our trivia team.

More like she knows how to use the internet (or has the time to do it). If she can use the laptop in the competition, she'll help you out.

That's more like it!!! Nice birdy pictures, no hairless, slithering s-n-a-k-e puppies! :lmao:

From CJS: Ooooooooooooo Laaaaaaaaaaaa Laaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

I'm not so sure about Twinkles lending me her shoes - she is still mad because when she went to WDW, she had to stay at the hotel and I got to meet Mickey Mouse and she didn't and neither did Brownie and I got to drive the monorail!
