Kennywood is definitely on my list :thumbsup2 Most of the parks on my list are down east. The top of the list though is Cedar Point :thumbsup2 I sure hope Kira is a coaster junkie when she's older :teeth:

Holiday World in Ind. is a nice little park with some great wooden coasters. Kira would love it too.

Well, England has almost ground to a halt:rolleyes:
We just dont "do" snow, so when it comes everything stops.

e.g. The whole of the London bus service has stopped - in other words thousands of people wont be able to get to work.

We are expecting up to 12" today:sad: and its forecast for several more days yet to come:sad:

I wish I was on CC right now:beach:

Karen,

We went through the same thing last week. pixiedust: We are just south enough that we do not do snow and ice very well. It was up to 40 yesterday but we will get snow again tonight. The schools here were out most of the week last week and again today. Those poor kids will be going to school until July at this point.

Back - had a wonderful time! Kamy and Steve are ready to go in October with us! I'll post pics tomorrow. Someone PM me please if I missed anything special or important while I was gone - too much to catch up on now - and no, her little sob story doesn't qualify. Long day tomorrow, but I'll try to catch up somehow.

Welcome back Mimi!

Did I miss something? What is 'her little sob story'???

Wow, that must be something! Don't the kids enjoy playing in the snow?

The groundhog saw his shadow....

6 more weeks of winter we will see.......:sad2: :sad2: :sad2:

Not so loud! You'll upset Leisha!!! :lmao:

The rodent needs to be smacked! :lmao: :lmao:

Oops, too late!:rotfl:

Yes, it's tough being back!

I have more pictures - I will be filling in my real trip report, as I get more time. Tink's blog was just for fun!

Good Morning Joanne .
You sound like our daughter inlaw who is a systems Adm at LL Bean. she has that option of staying home also. She has a company computer at home so if there's problems at work she can do it from home. She doesn't abuse that privilege .
Some how I have caught a cold maybe I picked it up in Boston last week when Nancy and I went to the Celtics game.
Nancy got a call last night to do the kindergarten for half a day so she is at work.
I better get busy she wants me to wash the kitchen dining room floor.
Have a great day
DAN

I don't abuse it either. I have a laptop so it's my office computer also. I think this is only the second or third time.

Can Scott and i join you? I would love to do that! We love coasters.:goodvibes

Absolutely! :thumbsup2 :cool1:

We love roller coasters too!
I can't wait to go to Florida in 10 more days. Bob and I are doing Universal together and it has been over 10 years since I've been to a park with someone who will ride the fast rides with me. I've had to ride alone or with some other single rider all these years.
My son hates rides. So does my best friend.

So finally I get to go on with someone!

I'm so excited!:cool1:

I love the coasters at Universal :goodvibes Have fun!!!! :cool1:

It's always tough coming back...especially to cold weather!

Looking forward to your "real" trip report. I have been on a trip report kick lately!

Wow lots of snow. Isn't it pretty. I guess I can say that since I only see snow when I am in Massachusetts. It looks like Massachusetts will be getting some snow tomorrow. Oh Yeh, can you believe it 6 more weeks of winter. My poor mother and father. Diane

I went to LL Bean in Mansfield when I was in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago. It is such a nice store. Lots of cool things but here in Texas we don't need them. Too bad. Did you have fun at the Celtics game? Diane

We love LL Bean. I bought a coat in 2001. In 2007, the zipper handle broke off. Since my mom and dad live about 15 minutes away, I had my mom take it back to see if I could get it fixed. They gave her a gift card for me to get a new one! The coat was 6 years old, and I got full replacement value for a broken zipper handle!

They truly back up their products. I will always buy coats at LL Bean now.

We live about 10miles North of LL Bean Chris.

Good morning everyone! Things are going well here. It doesn't sound like the snow predicted for tomorrow will amount to much. It looks like it might blow out to sea. We will only get a couple of inches if that happens.

That's what I just heard on my work car radio coming home for lunch!!!!!!!!!!! :thumbsup2

Thats good news isn't it! I am going to a breakfast tomorrow where the guest speaker is Yankee General Manager Brian Cashman. I was worried I would miss it, but now it looks like I will make it.
