This is a few weeks ago at Julia's cheer competition.They got 3rd place. They were just excited about the ribbon and trophy.

Wow, that must be something! Don't the kids enjoy playing in the snow?

After school all the families in the Close stayed out and played sleding and snowballing for an hour or so. The men were pushing each other down the Close on the kiddies sledges to see who could go the furthest

Well, back to reality today! Look what was in my office to greet me this morning:

It's a little blurry, because I only had my iPhone. each monkey had a little sign. And then there was:

All of the monkeys were a little jealous and they all want to come the next time!

So I did it... I broke down... we bought a Wii OMG!!!! it is soooo much fun but wow my old outta shape body say's slow down girl..lol

We have been playing bowling and my body is aching!! also we bought a old version of raving rabbits... you have to swing a cow and toss it..... I think I threw my shoulder out!

I knew you'd get one in the end - you'll ache tomorrow - All you need now is Mario karts to join our Saturday tournament

This is out front, some of our neighbours had made this huge snowball and were trying to roll it down our road.

Decided to work from home today. DS # 2 is not going back to FSU until this afternoon. Since I have no idea when we will see him again, he is going south for spring break- lucky guy, I thought I would stay here. He will probably sleep most of the morning but I will still get to see him.

Plus I can get so much more done here with out all the interuptions.

Tis funny to hear someone from the south talk about going south!!!!

I went to LL Bean in Mansfield when I was in Massachusetts a couple of weeks ago. It is such a nice store. Lots of cool things but here in Texas we don't need them. Too bad. Did you have fun at the Celtics game? Diane

The game was very good. They won 119-100 I think. The train ride was OK even though we were 1 1/2 hours late leaving Portland - engine problem they said. We got home very late to lots of ice/snow on the car then had to drive home. It was after 3 when we got to bed. But it was worth it!!

When I go to Yankee games, I typically get home between 12:30 and 1:00 AM. It is a long day, but always a good time. This year I have 11 games, but will probably only go to 7 or 8.

Since they are adding a Metro North train station at the new stadium, I may take the train once to try it out. I have to drive 50 minutes to New Haven to catch the train, but it will add a different element to the day.

Karen: Did they end up calling off school for Ellis?

Kathy: I wanna work with you! Your co-workers seem like a hoot to work with. All I have around here are people who don't want to work here anymore. Bunch of grumps.

Christian, NancyK, Andy...hope the snow misses you guys. We're getting up to 4 inches between tonight and tomorrow. It's ok, we're used to that.

Lori: Those kids get cuter by the day! Looks like Karen and I will be fighting each other to munch those cheeks. We'll have to switch between Kira and your little "munch-a-bunches". Note to self: sharpen elbows before cruise...Karen has some sharp ones.

We (The UK) are never prepared for it... we're not used to it, so England just grinds to a halt if we get more than 3 inches

Every school in the West Midlands (our county) is off tomorrow, so no school for me or Ellis


Its now about 6-8 inches and more is forecast. We are off out with some of the Neighbours tomorrow to our local park where there is a BIG slope for sledging... I'll be sat in the car drinking hot chocolate

Good Morning/Afternoon BOB'ers

Boy...did we get some serious snow last night. 4 inches in the centre of London, even more out by me. Everywhere has shut down, no buses, tubes, rail services. Schools have closed. Rick and I managed to get in and only 2 out of the 6 libraries that I look after have opened.

Waiting to hear what time we will close.
