Great job Karen on your first week of work. I volunteer at my grandkids school at lunchtime once a week. I pass out forks, spoons, napkins, straws. open things. It is fun and then I can eat lunch with Asiah and Elijah. They love me bringinig them something special for lunch. Diane

Well I just survived my first full week in my new little job. The kids were all cute with one or two exceptions. I'm in all next week too so more peenies towards the cruise fund

Actually, I booked Hazel and I back on this cruise a couple of weeks ago on January 9th. Hazel doesn't even know it yet. I want to surprise her with the news on her birthday March 3rd. Lina knows, and almost slipped about it the other night. I had to pull a fast one and change the subject.

Hello again everyone. I am done at the gym and now at work. I am putting the finishing touches on our FEMA application for this year. It's pretty easy. I just have to copy last years, and make subtle changes to it.

Next week, I have to finalize a big grant that we are applying for. That grant is to fund a living skills program that we offer.

i was going to give her a smoocher as a present.

How are things in the Bluegrass state.
Have got rid of the ICE.
We had about 6 inches of snow the other day with about 2 inches of frozen crust ontop.

Just getting in for lunch. At 9am it was bright and sunny, at 10am the clouds started rolling in, at 11am the first sn*w flakes started falling. Having a sn*w shower at the moment...........

Kathy, if you know what is good for you, you and Frank will stay in Florida.....

Cass, maybe you could put a few books on her bed instead and leave a little lamp on?

That's exactly what I do Karen. I put a dozen or so of her fave books on her bed and leave her little lamp on so she can read. I think she just likes the closet She also puts all her stuffed animals in there every morning when she wakes up

Have a happy Friday everyone. I only have to work 1/2 day because Alex has an eye appointment. Keep your fingers crossed for no glasses!

Almost forgot, please remember my mom today, she is having a cyst removed from her foot and will be in a cast the next few weeks.

My mom also found out from the EKG that she had the other day, she suffered a mild heart attack a few years ago and never knew it.
