Yeah I have to get my hair cut today. It's a mess, but I had to wait until payday!

I get my hair cut about every 6 weeks or so, always go on Friday as it is Men's Night, the cut is only $9.00

I was just on our internal work IM with some friends currently living in London. They are going to be in the states and want to come and see us for a day in March. They are getting a new appointment in June as he will becoming the Chief Secretary (CEO) for The Salvation Army in Kenya. They are American and are very excited about this. They are our children's godparents and are very good to them.

Actually, I booked Hazel and I back on this cruise a couple of weeks ago on January 9th. Hazel doesn't even know it yet. I want to surprise her with the news on her birthday March 3rd. Lina knows, and almost slipped about it the other night. I had to pull a fast one and change the subject.

How are things in the Bluegrass state.

We had about 6 inches of snow the other day with about 2 inches of frozen crust ontop.

Good morining! We are frozen. Over 200000 people are without power here. We have power but both parents do not so we have had a house full of people. It has been fun in a lot of ways. It really is beautiful. It makes me said at all of the trees we will lose becaus eof the ice storm. Tommy has been keeping busy helping our neighbors with clean up of thier yards. If that groundhog sees his shadow on Monday I am going to PA and smack him! I need spring!!

Well whatever Kira has, I have now. I couldn't sleep last night...I kept snoring and waking myself up You know it's bad when you wake yourself up My throat is killing me and I got a wicked headache. I kind of figured it was coming with 2 sickies in the house

I have been fighting a cold all week Cass. I went to the gym today and took it easy, but didn't have much energy to do upper body weights. I wasn't able to do my reps for my upper body. I could have worked my legs all day though. I guess that's what happens when you have a cold!

Great job Karen on your first week of work. I volunteer at my grandkids school at lunchtime once a week. I pass out forks, spoons, napkins, straws. open things. It is fun and then I can eat lunch with Asiah and Elijah. They love me bringinig them something special for lunch. Diane

That's exactly what I do Karen. I put a dozen or so of her fave books on her bed and leave her little lamp on so she can read. I think she just likes the closet She also puts all her stuffed animals in there every morning when she wakes up

Maybe you could make the closet into her special "reading corner". Does she have a little chair that would fit inside or little beanbag? Add a little box or shelf to put her favourite books ands make it her "daytime library den" (the emphasis on "daytime" )... tell her its only to be used for special "book time" eg after brekkie or lunch etc... but definitely not when its "closed" for the evening. You could even make a green open/red closed sign that she can hang on the door handle and turn it round to closed before bedtime. Whatever happens keep taking those cute piccies please

Well, the houseworks all done, Ellis' weekends homework is finished and we even got to the Scout store tonight before they closed to collect Ellis' new cub uniform

We have karate tomorrow morning then I'm training the Scout group staff tomorrow afternoon re the epipens etc, but after that.........NOTHING ... CANT REMEMBER THE LAST TIME WE HAD TIME TO DO NOTHING ... I'M SOO LOOKING FORWARD TO NOTHING!
