Lina doesn't want to join us on the cruise, she has plans to go to Cancun with some of her friends.

Actually, I booked Hazel and I back on this cruise a couple of weeks ago on January 9th. Hazel doesn't even know it yet. I want to surprise her with the news on her birthday March 3rd. Lina knows, and almost slipped about it the other night. I had to pull a fast one and change the subject.

I was holding out saying anything about it because Lina was still working out details about her trip to Cancun with her friends. I'm still a bit worried about Lina going, but she will be 19 by that time and there isn't much I can do to stop her from going. I'm just an over-protective poppa.

We did have fun and managed to get a few funny looks with our loud laughing. We were giggling so hard we even had Stacy tearing up.

I don't know if I could pull a surprise video again, unless I can hide the camera. I think Hazel would be on to me this time..........

I felt so bad, Nancy and I must have been posting at the exact same moment. This is one time I wasn't trying to sneak away an FO. Nancy, please forgive me......

He was lucky. He won two games and I won one game. I love it. I am terrible at tennis. I swing too early too late. whatever. Wish we could have come to your bowling party Nancy. I am not much competition but I really enjoy playing. Diane

I'm the same way w/tennis, I never win against Bryce.

Although I am soooooooo happy for Andy and Hazel, there is just no way it's going to happen. Got notice today that I will be going from 12 mo to 11 mo which is an 8% paycut, but will also looking at the district implementing another 8% paycut and maybe some layoffs, just waiting to see what the state budget says. Unfortunately I have to sit and stew until May 1 to find out if I will have a job come July.
Good news is Sean is taking his Sgt test on March 7th (his 40th birthday), part 1 of 3 parts. If he passes all of that he could be a Sgt by this time next year. Trying to see the glass half full.

I get a freepass on Valentine's Day. It's DD's birthday, so when she was born, Elaine and I agreed it was all about her. Although, Elaine is starting to drop hints that she wants that agreement lifted.

Going through childbirth alone makes it worth getting that agreement lifted Christian.

Isn't that license the coolest thing?!?!?!?! On what we thought was our once in lifetime stay on property family trip, all four of us got them. I love them!

When are you leaving? We'll be in Florida tomorrow and at the parks Saturday. I can't wait to get back there. Woo-hoo! Mack is already off for the weekend - this never happens; he is never off before me!

Almost forgot, please remember my mom today, she is having a cyst removed from her foot and will be in a cast the next few weeks.

My mom also found out from the EKG that she had the other day, she suffered a mild heart attack a few years ago and never knew it.

The newleyweds won this time. But our Cruise Kiddy is really racking up some serious change.

I just put the kids on the bus and will be heading to the gym shortly. It was another cold morning with lots of re-frozen ice out there. Hopefully the sun will melt a good bit of it today.
