Hello again, another question from the DCL newbie.....what do you think the best way is for us (2 adults) to get to the port from the airport? We may be staying in Orlando a few days before the cruise, but we would be returning the car to the airport anyway bc we'd be using a free rental from National which I don't think is near the port? Is it worth it to spend a few extra dollars on a private car over the DCL bus transfer? Or any other suggestions?

Nancy, here is a slightly late birthday gift to make you smile....:)

This is how my daughter has fallen asleep the last two nights...both times after 10pm!!!

I guess you can say she likes her closet :lmao: :rotfl2:

Hey Dawg, where can I find my oar? I got Hazel and I in a cat. 12 ;)

Lina doesn't want to join us on the cruise, she has plans to go to Cancun with some of her friends.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2: Excellent news...knew you couldn't stay away.

Actually, I booked Hazel and I back on this cruise a couple of weeks ago on January 9th. Hazel doesn't even know it yet. I want to surprise her with the news on her birthday March 3rd. Lina knows, and almost slipped about it the other night. I had to pull a fast one and change the subject. :crazy2:

Well I won't say a thing...honest!:bitelip:

:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I think I might drop the surprise on Valentine's Day instead of her birthday. With the sail date, on our anniversary date, I think a Valentine's Day surprise will be more romantic........

Ah...you old softy...but them we can't talk, it's our wedding anniversary.

Sitting here in balmy Mexico with my good friends AFEG and Jeff. I'm a little disappointed. I was promised Becky and Sean and Heather and Rick would be here too.:grouphug: oh how i miss those special moments with "the boys" on the repo.

Just wanted to say happy bday to my fellow pancake sister Nancy.:p :p :p

What is your pancake name anyway????
Goose-ixie??

We weren't invited :thumbsup2

Although I am soooooooo happy for Andy and Hazel, there is just no way it's going to happen. Got notice today that I will be going from 12 mo to 11 mo which is an 8% paycut, but will also looking at the district implementing another 8% paycut and maybe some layoffs, just waiting to see what the state budget says. Unfortunately I have to sit and stew until May 1 to find out if I will have a job come July.
Good news is Sean is taking his Sgt test on March 7th (his 40th birthday), part 1 of 3 parts. If he passes all of that he could be a Sgt by this time next year. Trying to see the glass half full.;)

   for you sis. You did know it was coming though, so not so much of a shock. Good news about the Vertigo though.

:pixiedust: for Sean's exams. I'm sure he'll pass with flying colours.

Hey dawg,
I'm watching the Principals Office (like I don't already live it everyday:confused3 ). Anyhoo, this one school has a policy that the boys cannot have facial hair. So this kid is in the principals office and the principal tells him he has to shave. The kids says "What if I cut myself". The principal says "I'm gonna tell you something CHICKS DIG SCARS":rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl: :rotfl: You'll start him off again.

Eating Mickey bars is an art. I have perfected the eat adn slurp method. :rotfl2:

I'm obviously not a good slurper:rotfl2:

I never cared for ice creams like Mickey Bars regardless of the shape. I don't like how that chocolate tastes over the vanilla ice cream. Call me weird!

You're wierd:lmao:

Chris is weird.......:rotfl2: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I see I was beaten to it:lmao:

Karen, love to see you still posting your vacation photos!

They were the "lost" ones that I found!:cool1:

You're weird...but then again I don't like them either.

Does that make you wierd too?:rotfl2:

Well...depends on a number of things.

Do you want to get to the port as early as you can? If so then I would rent a car from Budget or Avis(?) and return the car at the Port. You could join some of us down at Port Canaveral the night before. We're staying at The Raddison. You can return your car to the rental agent down there and then take the hotel shuttle the next day.

If you take the DCL transfers, you will not get to the Port until about 12.30/1.00pm but the good thing about that is that once your luggage is on the coach you don't have to touch it again until it arrives at your stateroom.

Also, what are you doing at the end of the cruise? Will you need to book a car to take the DCL bus to the airport?

I like the Mickey bars. I like to get them on the cruise at nite. They bring them for room service. Elijah said he likes the Mickey cookie ice cream and Asiah always gets the rainbow ice pop. Diane

Where do you get them from in the evening? - I like the osund of taking one back to the room before bed

Just got back from dropping Lina off at PetSmart. Lina was called and asked if she could come in and volunteer a few hours tonight, I have to pick her up at 9pm. I'm so proud of my kid for doing this volunteer work. :goodvibes

Well done Lina:cheer2:

Toodles boys. I'm off for my b-day dinner with Chuck and the kids and then back home for Wii League Bowling night.

Just what I was thinking:grouphug:

i predict an "ocean" of red dresses that nite.:cheer2: ::yes:: :hyper:

I'll be in black - sorry!:goodvibes

Isn't that license the coolest thing?!?!?!?! On what we thought was our once in lifetime stay on property family trip, all four of us got them. I love them!

ok, this is sooo not fair. We've ridden up front twice and never got a licence:sad:
