We (The UK) are never prepared for it... we're not used to it, so England just grinds to a halt if we get more than 3 inches:lmao:

Every school in the West Midlands (our county) is off tomorrow, so no school for me or Ellis:cheer2:

Its now about 6-8 inches and more is forecast. We are off out with some of the Neighbours tomorrow to our local park where there is a BIG slope for sledging... I'll be sat in the car drinking hot chocolate;)

Although they are not predicting snow tomorrow, its the freezing temps now that will leave us with black ice and trecherous roads.

Here are my 2 little ones in the snow/ice last week......

They would love it if we got more.::yes:: ::yes::

They are so cute!!!!

Kathy: I wanna work with you! :rotfl2: Your co-workers seem like a hoot to work with. All I have around here are people who don't want to work here anymore. Bunch of grumps. :snooty:

I do have some loonies working around me - makes the day go much faster! After I took all the monkeys back to their Mommy's office, Tink came back to visit and brought me a Thank You card and a Valentine's present in a Tinkerbell gift bag!

Apparently, my friends were sharing the link to Tink's posts, so lots of people at work were following her travels!

What fun!!! Once you get past the point of worrying about going to school or work, snow can be so much fun!!! I saw the pictures of the snow at Stone Henge!

I am here... waiting for the end of the day to roll around..lol 20mins away

Lina's Build-a-Bear W-2 just arrived, now I can get our income taxes done!!! :thumbsup2

I used to buy Turbo Tax every year until I found out about the free tax preparation online! I've used both EZTaxreturn.com and last and this year
Taxactonline.com.
This year IRS is offereing free online filing. Just go to their website and they'll tell you all the details and help you find the best tax site for you to use.
Grossing under a certain amount you can use certain sites and get free filing for IRS, but state will cost a fee.

I paid nothing to use the tax program, nothing to file Federal online and $13.95 to file my state online.

Saves all that money I used to pay for Turbotax (As long as your tax situations aren't too complicated).

Check them out!:surfweb:

Usually getting on the airport monorail/tram gets me going in earnest.

This is out front, some of our neighbours had made this huge snowball and were trying to roll it down our road.

Cool massive snowball pic Heather:thumbsup2

Good luck to you all.
We're so used to lots of snowfall here.
But this year since I cancelled my snowplow contract (thought I could handle the shoveling) it's been torture!
Trying to be careful with my back(disc problem and arthritis) I injured my elbow over a month ago.
Tendonitis.......
Was hoping it would just go away. But since I still have to work and use that hand/arm and to keep shoveling. It's not healing:sad2:

God I feel old!
I sat yesterday watching the Superbowl with a lumbar support cushion behind my back and a ice pack on my elbow.
What happens when I hit my 50's?:crazy2:

Cass is helping me to use photbucket.. so hopefully by wed i can post some pics ..finally.. I even have some hat ones :thumbsup2

Our trip to WDW in 2005 was a free one that my mother in law won through Creative Memories contest so it was very awsome. She took her 2 kids and I along.. unfortunatly we did not have the money for my kids to join us and we were shunned by them for a little bit (hehe) but it was a gift and how can you say no??...lol anyways it included airfare/medium hotel stay/ car rental/ $500 spending money! It was amazing.. I felt very fortunate to have been part of it :goodvibes

That sounds great. We decided to take our kids for a quick taste of WDW in 2005. We even went 2 months before DS's 3rd birthday to save on tickets! We packed lunches, shared drinks. LOL, I know very cheap!

We arrived on Friday, and stayed through Monday. DD remembers, but DS doesn't. We are going to MNSSHP on the 31st after the cruise, so that will be a nice little add on to our vacation. I hope that we can get down there again in the next couple of years.

Good evening!

Kathy - She made some comment about not being a pancake sister while I was gone.

Heather - Great snow pictures. Stay safe!

Karen - Glad you get a day off!

I have to load pictures from this past weekend and upload them to photobucket. I really didn't take a lot - we were doing whatever Kamy and Steve's 2 and 3 yr. old wanted to do - it was SO much fun!!!!
