I am the one that is the bigger Disney "nut" in our family. Al likes to go to WDW and he likes DCL but he too says there is more to see than Disney. Over the past few years as Rachel has been getting older we have gone to some places other than WDW for our vactions and that has helped. He never really complains much when I book a Disney trip though, he just ries to act like Grumpy ;) He has been wanting to try a different cruise line than Disney for a few years now but somehow we just keep ending up back on the Magic :goodvibes

Glad to hear everyone's comments on my question.

I know so many of you have spouses who love it like you do, but
I'm sure glad that I don't have the only lukewarm Disney guy around,
ok, so maybe I can still keep him ;)

Sounds like they're all having fun It's amazing that they can play against each other like that :cool1: Rachel got Mario Cart for Christmas but I haven't played it or seen it palyed yet.

I'm going down to watch now - with earplugs:rotfl2:

You should try it - I'm not very good at driving games but its fun.
I'm going to watch little Ellis kick Jeff's @$$:lmao:

Heres out little tree from the hotel room:cutie: - Ellis decorated it all by himself, hence it looks the way it does:rolleyes1

Look near the top of it though - my latest Bob ornament!:yay:

Awwww, I think your tree looks wonderful! Ellis did a great job! I love to have a tree. Even when we went to Colorado last Christmas to ski, I wanted a tree. Wouldn't you know, there was a huge spruce that came up to our second floor deck?! We put lights on the part that hung over our deck and bought some ornaments to go on it that we later brought home as souvenirs. It was wonderful!

I did of course;) .... Avctually, this may be a good time to boast!

ARE YOU READY FOR THIS?

ARE YOU SURE?

On Buzz lightyear I got the highest score possible - 999999:yay:

I knew about the volcano top target, but I managed to hit another one twice and I heard a noise from the console and I looked and I'd got 999999:yay:

Theres just one problem.... ....... I cant rememebr which target it was:lmao: :lmao: .... I was so shocked it had gone by before I registered what had happened:rolleyes: ... It was after the volcano and I wasnt facing forward...it wasnt particualry up high and it was on the side of something.... thats all I know....so from now on instead of Karen mouse / Auzzie you can all address me as Karen Mouse aka Galactic Hero:yay: :woohoo:

How the he$$ did you do that:mad: Jealous I am!

Good job:thumbsup2

Wow, that's great. If we don't have to be there when you validate we could get you two. Check it out and let me know.

I took a look and if you don't have a military ID, you have to be present when the tickets are purchased. So my parents couldn't buy tickets for Frank and I unless we were there with them. They are also careful about using the word 'guests' meaning people that are staying with you.

Here's a few pictures from Toy Story Mania as we were walking through the line. We loved that ride!!!!

Mr.Potato Head was asking Rachel what her favorite toy is and she was so stunned he was talking to her she couldn't answer :rotfl2:
100_1999.jpg

Mr. Potato Head wasn't working the day we were there. We're hoping to see him at the end of this month

Just reached my limit to upload on photobucket - 250 at a time:confused3 - whats that all about?:confused3 I still have loads more to do:rolleyes1

Universal, Islands of adventure and Macy parade coming up next folks. Interested or should I skip it?:confused3 Not sure if you're universal people or is that a swear word around here?:rotfl:

We wants to see 'em

Morning Folks,

Awsome photo's everyone!!

As for the Disney likers in the family.. well Sean and I are not nuts for it but Cass has talked about it so often it just sounds like too much fun! Regular cruises have casinos in them and we are not real gamblers so it never attracted us so the Disney cruise makes sence :) It's not that we hate disney but it is not on our thoughts everyday..lol

are we shunned now?? :guilty:

I do intend on having a blast tho... and I hear the strawberry smoothies are to die for ;)

Nope, not shunned. But you have issued a challenge to the rest of us to convert you. Before you know it, you'll be spotting Hidden Mickeys and arguing over the exact speed of the monorail!

Here's the scoop on the Disney Armed Services Salute. Notice the kicker at the bottom - all 'guests' must be present when the tickets are purchased.

Anyone on active duty- Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard
Retired military personnel Federal/State National Guard and Reserves (with active papers dated 1/1/08-12/23/09) Dept of Defense (CIA, FBI, Secret Service) and Coalition Forces are excluded.

The military service member will receive one Complimentary 5-Day "Disney's Armed Forces Salute“ Ticket with PH and WPF&M - this ticket is not upgradeable.

Up to 5 of their guests can purchase for $99 a "Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion" (5 Day Base) ticket and can add on the PH or WPF&M option for $25 each (which is 50% off the normal price); however, these tickets may also be upgraded to Premium, Annual and Seasonal Passes. Seasonal Pass upgrade requires proof of Florida Residency. No other upgrades, such as adding on additional days or the NE option, are available

This promotion will begin on 1/4/09 and end on 12/23/09. Tickets will expire on 12/23/09 and have no block-out dates
Tickets may be upgraded anytime between January 4th -December 23, 2009 as long as there is usage left on the ticket.
At any Vacation Planner or Guest Relations Window
They can purchase an exchange voucher at Shades of Green (ticket is tax free)
They can also purchase an exchange voucher at their Base (ticket is tax free)

The entire party needs to be present for purchase (Spouse or military dependants can receive the companion discount without the military service member being present as long as they have their military ID)
The military service member will need to show ID; Cast Member will ask for their Base’s name, and the State where the base is listed.

This offer is only available once per service member

I just finished loading more pictures into my photobucket account. I'll post a few more and then I have to go get some laundry and stuff done.

Here's some pictures from the Candlelight Processional at EPCOT. It was awesome to see and here!!!!

We had the dinner package for the CP and we had dinner at Tuto Itallia beforehand here is a picture of Rachel's desert sampler from that night

These are a little blurry, I was trying to get some good ones of Steven Curtis Chapman, these are the best I have.

The star that looks like it is on the man in the back row is really "attached" to his head.

Evening All.

My, weren't you all chatty last night.

Have to catch up, so back in a bit.

Hello Everyone -

Just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Lisa and my family (all 14 of us) will be sailing with all you Bobers. You guys have already met my cousin Firefighter Chris. My family consists of myself, Lisa (35), my better-half, Quincy (not a poster & don't understand the whole idea??), son, John & step-son, Tyrin (both 14 at time of sailing.) Also joing us are a few new sailors...my grandma (84) and my uncle as well as experienced sailors, my parents, my two brothers, and another uncle....plus Chris and his family.

I do not know how much time I will have to post as I work full-time and go to school part-time. Nights are pretty busy, but I will try my hardest to keep up ;) . I am very excited for this much needed trip!

Lisa

:welcome: :welcome: aboard Lisa and Family.

Oh Heather, that is totally Chuck too. He always takes off with the cart (trolley) and there I stand. Or I find him with the cart reading magazines instead. Men! Gotta love 'em. :cloud9:

I'm Nancy and cruising with DH Chuck. Hopefully, our kids will be joining us too. DS Tony (28) and his wife Stacy (26), and DD Kristin (24) and her husband Jesse (27). We are all from Menomonee Falls and Wauwatosa. Hope to see you around a lot. :)

Nancy...glad I'm not on my own with rogue shopping husbands. :lmao:

:scared1: What do you mean HOPEFULLY? Is there are a chance that they won't sailing with you now?

Good idea..... although I'm actually only about half way through day 1 so far:rotfl2: Once Neil is back at work and Ellis back at school and my house back to normal I'll post more. We took most of our decs down today so the house is a mess til its all sorted and stored away.

Yep...did our today and everything is now back up in the attic.:sad2: The rooms seem so empty now.

Before I post this I just have one comment - why oh why cant those darned mice stay still long enough for a decent photo:confused3

I took about 5 and every shot has one of them looking the other way:rolleyes: ... do they not know my camera has a delay:confused3

Anyway here it is - unco-operateive mice:rolleyes:

Thats sounds lovely!

Good job:thumbsup2

I know! - I was soooo suprised! - I tried takinga photo of the score to prove it but the numbers didnt show up:rolleyes: - I'll be doing Buzz over and over again now to find that special target! It must have given me about 300000 each time. I think the volcano is 100000 each time.

He's doing well. They're having fun. I told them to play nice and give Jeff a chance to come somewhere in the rankings apart from last;) - only kidding Jeff - you're better than me:rotfl:

If Rachel wants to join all she needs to do is give us her 12 digit mario kart licence number off the screen and we'll log her in as a friend.

We've not done this - I think Ellis wouldnt like it. Maybe when he's older (plus we couldnt afford it anyway!)

That man with the "star hat" is funny:lmao:

Good afternoon everyone! Wow awesome pics Cheryl and Karen. I always heard about Osbourne Lights and wondered what they were. They are amazing! Ii think a WDW Christmas trip is in the eventual works for us. What sucks is it would have to be after Christmas with the crowds.
Bealted Happy Birthday Christian!
