Mr P talks!   - we never saw him talking!!! - we got there early and ran past him - I did take a few piccies.. which have disapearred, but I missed him talking! We got several fast passes and the fast pass line doesnt pass him.

Its fun in there, very similar to Rainforest. We got in within 5 minutes! - before christmas - I saw the line later after christmas though:scared1:

Ok, I'll post them:thumbsup2 Harry Potter land looks fab:yay: -we could see quite a bit behind the boards.

Same goes for me if you want any pictures from my photobucket account just pm me!

We got to the Studios early and went right to Toy Story Mania, got a fast pass and then got right in line to ride it (only 15 min. waiy at that time) that way we could ride twice. We were taking a picture by Mr. Potato Head and he asked the young lady in the blue shirt, Rachel, what her favorite toy was and she was so amazed and surprised she didn't say anything so again he said yes, he was talking to the young lady in the blue shirt and there was no one else around in a blue shirt so we know he was talking to her. It was neat and funny to see!

We'll definitely have to try the T-Rex restaurant next time. Hopefully by then the newness will have worn off or I think they are supposed to start taking priority seating reservations sometime soon too.

Morning Folks,

Awsome photo's everyone!!

As for the Disney likers in the family.. well Sean and I are not nuts for it but Cass has talked about it so often it just sounds like too much fun! Regular cruises have casinos in them and we are not real gamblers so it never attracted us so the Disney cruise makes sence :) It's not that we hate disney but it is not on our thoughts everyday..lol

are we shunned now?? :guilty:

I do intend on having a blast tho... and I hear the strawberry smoothies are to die for ;)

hugs to those who need them and as always one for the dawg

shunned??

um, yes!!! come on gang, we wont let bernie play in any reindeer games.
 :lmao:

seriously, we love ya kiddo. any friend of cass and robs has to be great!!
:grouphug: :grouphug:

so i must ask karen and cheryl, who won on toy story mania ride??

happy to report i beat robin both times.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
it's killing her.:cutie: she cant wait for a rematch.:cool2:

"i choose not to play again":rolleyes1 :lmao:

Of course Al got the best score both times we rode Toy Story Mania (he always does the best on Buzz Lightyear too), one of the times Rachel scored better than I did the other time I beat her by a very little. I didn't care what my score was I just had fun playing! We really liked that ride :thumbsup2

Mornin' Ladies!

Just trying to catch up, but I will have to finish later. Lots of posting-yeay!

Karen, gorgeous pics!!!! I will have to show Pete the castle shots....he's letting me plan a WDW trip in 2010 or 2011! So much to decide...when to go, where to stay...lots to keep me occupied after the BOB cruise. :)

I know a couple of BOBer's planning for Christmas 2011, I always say the more the merrier!

Cheryl and Karen love the pics, can't wait til we can get back there.

Bernie don't worry about the Disney thing eventually everyone comes over to the Dark Side, just don't resist the power of it and you will be just fine.

Just reached my limit to upload on photobucket - 250 at a time:confused3 - whats that all about?:confused3 I still have loads more to do:rolleyes1

Universal, Islands of adventure and Macy parade coming up next folks. Interested or should I skip it?:confused3 Not sure if you're universal people or is that a swear word around here?:rotfl:

Put me down as "interested". :thumbsup2

not nearly enough i'm afraid.:sad2:
about 2 miles. i get short of breath. i try to increase the speed and go longer but i struggle. doc says since my surgery my heart muscle is on the low side of normal.(whatever that means):confused3

he said, do what i can and then just relax. i thought i was having the big one that one day playing bball on the ship.(showing off for the chics:cool2: )
as a wise person told me...it is what it is.:wizard: :thumbsup2 :worship:

robin went to wdw in 72. we went the summer after we got married in 76.
i was hooked right away. (and ever since).:wizard:
we never went anywhere when i was a kid and just fell in love with the place.
:wizard: :wizard:
took ds in 81 for the first time when he was 3 1/2. (told them he wasnt 3 yet so we didnt have to pay for him. (and he was really tall for his age):rolleyes1
hey, times were tough back then. :guilty: :rotfl2:

We did the same thing Mike. We would go to Disney on a wing and a prayer. We'd drive down, stay at Ho-Jo's, eat out of a cooler packed with food from home and our indulgence was a pizza. We would just hang around the hotel pool all day and give the kids a few quarters to play arcade games. If we could afford a day at the Magic Kingdom, we would have to play down the kids ages just to be able to afford it. I remember packing sandwiches and soda in a cooler too. When we got hungry we would go out to the van and eat there. Sometimes the kids would nap out there too.

Ahhhhh, the good old days, eh?:cloud9:

Cheryl, welcome back kid. I love your pics. I really like the one of Rachel where she is standing on main street and her face is all lit up. Talk about an inner halo...:lovestruc

On Buzz lightyear I got the highest score possible - 999999:yay:

I knew about the volcano top target, but I managed to hit another one twice and I heard a noise from the console and I looked and I'd got 999999:yay:

Theres just one problem.... ....... I cant rememebr which target it was:lmao: :lmao: .... I was so shocked it had gone by before I registered what had happened:rolleyes: ... It was after the volcano and I wasnt facing forward...it wasnt particualry up high and it was on the side of something.... thats all I know....so from now on instead of Karen mouse / Auzzie you can all address me as Karen Mouse aka Galactic Hero:yay: :woohoo:

That is soooo cool! Did you see Donkey in the stable at Universal? - he talks too:cutie: - I asked him if he'd made "waffles" tody and he said yes and kept chatting. Ellis thought it was hysterical... I just wanted to kiss the daft ole donkey:cutie:

You ought to hear the screams in our lounge right now:rotfl2: ... Ellis is so excited :yay: ... he and Neil are playing Jeff and his ds online at Martio Karts. Its the first time and Ellis is screaming his head off:lmao:

Even Neil is squeeling like a girl:rotfl:

Kids eh!

I actually saw quite a few people in the parking lots eating out of coolers by their cars this trip. We do that when we go to Six Flags and I when I saw that at Disney this trip I was thinking there is no reason we couldn't do that there either for a change from the theme park food and as another way to help keep the trip affordable in the future.

We did too. We even saw a winnebago (sp?:confused3 ) parked up with all its lights on and the family were sat at the table by the window eating dinner in the parking lot:rotfl2: - the whole tram was looking at them and pointing as we all went past:lmao:

People I worked with, went to church with, etc... used to call me the Queen of Thrift for Disney Trips and were always asking me for advice on how to do it on the cheap. We made many trips that way in order to just afford being there. Before we ever thought of joining DVC, we stayed on property for what we thought would be our "once in a lifetime, blow out all the stops" trip. We stayed at the Poly, lagoon view, concierge level. We had the old dining package and we swear they changed it because of our family. It was amazing! But going on the cheap was always fun too. It never occurred to me to make the kiss younger than they were for costs though. I can go wither way; but given the choice and the means, I prefer to not worry about it so much. DVC has definitely afforded us that opportunity!

:cheer2: :cheer2: :woohoo: Congratulations Galactic Hero :cheer2:

We missed Donkey in the stable at Universal. We really didn't enjoy Universal nearly as much as we do WDW or even Sea World. All 3 of us said we don't need to go back to Universal for quite some time. I'm wondering if we'll change our mind on this if my sister and brother-in-law go to Orlando with us in 2010 and they say they want to go there. Will we go with them or just let them go and spend the day/days they go there doing something else?

Yep, I'd rather eat out of a cooler by the car in order to be able to go than not go at all. We still often times eat off Disney grounds, not just to get away from theme park food but also because we can often times get a much nicer meal for close to what a meal in the parks costs us. Plus now that we have DVC if we have leftovers we can put them in the refrigerator in the room and heat them up for another meal. We had a few simple lunches/dinners in our villa this time.

Sounds like they're all having fun It's amazing that they can play against each other like that :cool1: Rachel got Mario Cart for Christmas but I haven't played it or seen it palyed yet.

I love the shrek and terminator there..and good old Jaws of course:goodvibes

We didnt have Front of line passes and we were worried about the lines, but we'd done the parks in a day each without them., I'm so glad I didnt spend the money on them (we couldnt afford it). If you like coasters then its ok, but it doesnt have Disneys atmosphere.:sad2:

Hey Mike, Kristin and I are talking about photography. Could you please post the black and white picture of Cassie sitting down up against a wall with her head on her knees? I thought it was the most amazing picture I ever saw.

Thanks dear.

Heres out little tree from the hotel room:cutie: - Ellis decorated it all by himself, hence it looks the way it does:rolleyes1

Look near the top of it though - my latest Bob ornament!:yay:
