WOW! That is really fast to be leaving ICU whatever the reason - I do hope they have found the real causes, and yes, finding the cyst is a good thing - so she can have it remedied. I am thankful it is nothing more than this - though I am sure the employment issue will present its own challenges. Good news! Thanks be to God!

Mine is January 6 - Epiphany.

I've edited my post Mimi. :yay: Thanks for letting me know. :flower3:

Becky, I remember you once said you are looking forward to staying at the Treehouse Villas. I walked around SSR for about 2 hours one day last week while Rach was sick and I was able to get very close to the Treehouse Villas. They are looking pretty cool :thumbsup2 I'll have to post the pictures I took, hopefully I'll get a chance this weekend! Now I really can't wait to stay in them!

I am staying at the Tree House Villas & Bay Lake Tower in January 2010!!! :yay: :yay: :yay: Frank got free nights when he added on points on the Members Cruise!!! :woohoo:

Paige,

If you don't mind a ferry ride every morning you can stay at the Navy lodge on Staten Island for a lot less $$ than anything in NY. We did it once, very clean and has a kitchen.

That's true. I LOVE the ferry!!! Best ride in NYC! Plus it's free :woohoo:

We have but not since they renovated. Very nice. It was in 94 do it was a while ago......All I remember is parking was hard. We were PCSing from Guam to here so since we had to fly through Hawaii we stayed for 5 days. Beautiful island and you can get Dole whip at the pinapple farm!!!

Yes, you have to park across the street, but this time we won't have a car since we are going there after the cruise. We will be visiting the other islands on the cruise. And then I will be B.O.B.ing in October! Is this a great year or what???

One quick note, DS # 2 is in Key West and the Magic was there Sunday too. I am so impressed I raised at least one Disney lover!!! He is having a ball, says the weather is great. They went scuba diving, and are spending a lot of time by the pool.

Have a great day all. and here's to a happy and healthy new year for all,

I've been scheduled to stop in Key West twice on the Magic and both times had to be rerouted because of hurricanes :headache:

Hazel was just talking to her sister and was told that Brittany might be coming home today. Tests revealed that Brittany was suffering from chemical reactions at work. Brittany had just started a new job and it appears the chemicals she works with caused her attack. Looks like Brittany will be looking for a different job or taking better precautions. Thanks everyone for your good thoughts, prayers and :wizard: .
In one way, this was a blessing, because, the tests still revealed the cyst/tumor on her brain that needs to be taken care of. Brittany will have to see a specialist for this problem.

Wow, that is great news! :cheer2:

Good morning everyone and a Happy New Year!

I was drifting in bed last night as Elaine was watching a Lifetime movie, but woke up at midnight on my own to see Ryan Seacrest from Times Square on tv. Elaine wished me a Happy Birthday and New Year and then I fell back asleep rather fast.

It is a very cold morning here. Sometime today I have to go out and clean up the snow that was blown and drifted over the night. I think I will wait for it to warm up a bit.

We can now say our cruise is this year! I love the sound of that.

Other than Rach getting the stomach flu, WDW was great!!! The decorations were beautiful and the weather was great!!! We didn't feel the crowds were too awful (other than a lot of rude people and we felt like we were the minority being English speaking) until the day after Christmas. We got to get on most of our favorite rides and the longest line we waited in was about 20-30 minutes, but we did see wait times up to 120 min. we just refuse to wait that long for any ride, if it was a ride we wanted to do we would do it a different time early in the morning bt that is how we do things when we are there with the summer crowds too. If the opportunity presents itself in the future I would definitely go back for Christmas again!!!

This was our experience as well. We went into the Magic Kingdom on the 27th. We only lasted about an hour as the crowd was shoulder to shoulder. The week before Christmas was fine--like July crowds, gotta work the system.

It's kind of scary, but as of today, I can say, "I will be eligible to retire from the working with the township next year........." :woohoo:  :woohoo:  :woohoo:

Friends across the pond - The Royal British Youth Legion Band from Brentwood has been our favorite in the Tournament of Roses Parade so far!

Not to mention, they traveled the farthest, at 5,454 miles to get to California.....:thumbsup2

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHRIS!

Our neighbor is a New Years baby too but she's older.
