A New Year's Eve wedding sounds like fun!

The marriage test - you crack me up! :lmao:

Leisha - Doesn't this mean you are building muscle? I think that is a good thing. And if nothing else, you are improving your cardiovascular system!

I think I must be building muscle because my jeans are fitting better. I can tell a difference in my arms. I do feel better since I have been exercising. I also take the dogs for a walk everynight when I get home. I am ready for spring!

I would second the Candlelight Processional as a "don't miss" thing to do. It was wonderful!

Big people gifts can be a shock to the system of those not used to them - growing up is not all it is cracked up to be sometimes! ;)

The look on Ryan's face when he opened the rice cooker was priceless. He had said he wanted one when they got married so I bought him one. He also got a GPS and two new tires for his car. He wanted to know where the fun gifts were. Tommy told him welcome to adulthood.

Good morning everyone...

Things are going well here in CT. I guess we have some snow in the forecast for tomorrow. It's very windy right now. I have to take a short drive about 45 minutes away to return the currency counter we rented for the season, and then my father in law and I are taking the kids bowling today. That should be a good time. The bowling alley is really high tech and in addition to computerized scoring, the bumpers come up automatically for the kids if we set it that way, then retract for us adults.

I was reading rather fast and thought the same thing!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

have a great time!

I love to play with the bumpers up! It adds a whole new dimension to the game with bank shots! :lmao:

Go Leisha! :woohoo:

I'll never forget my first 'grown up' Christmas when I got a toaster oven! Wait until they start shopping for appliances! :lmao:

Kathy - Try to get some work done today instead of dreaming about the Atrium Club all day - oh, what the heck... dream about it!

It's so quiet :tiptoe:I actually wrote my pre trip report here yesterday!

Frank talked to the Concierge at the Contemporary yesterday. Since I am arriving first, he said to make sure I didn't get in the registration line with all the 'regular' people - they would have someone meet me and whisk me up to the 14th floor! :woohoo: I think we're in for a real treat! :yay:

Isn't that like 24-25 degrees F? Welcome to our HIGH temps for the next week (if not all of January and February).

You're lucky there that you're surrounded so much by water to keep your temps up. But for you guys to get down that low is cold. :cold:
It's supposed to get up into the 60's here today :cool1: Real foggy right now though. You all keep warm!
PS Jeff glad the car was all that got bumped up.

Isn't it a shame that he's not British. And that's why we don't have a great England team as the majority of our home Soccer teams are made up of players from other countries.

We have a local pre-pro hockey team (Stockton Thunder) here that is made up of all Canadians. Doesn't surprise me though, just wonder why the heck CA has hockey teams at all.

princess Heather in a nice red dress as i recall.:lovestruc

Like this?

Glad it's not just us then.

My last Christmas in college, I got a Kitchen Aid mixer (that I still have) and got the same welcome. The "toys" are just more expensive when one gets older. I know there was less under our tree this year, but the gps we got our son was more than we usually spend on him altogether, so of course there was less. Mack and I are giving each other the cruise for all gift-giving occasions, so of course there is less under the tree or less that looks like "fun stuff." It is so fun to watch them learn the lessons of adult-hood!

When we stayed at the Poly concierge, that was one of the most special things - the way they treated us. I know you will enjoy this immensely!

Time to get tea/dinner ready, so I catch up later.

Love the alternative fairy and the luggage tags from DCL.
The Taz angel makes us laugh every year! He fits with the theme though. The luggage tags were an addition this year - I glued two like ones together and put the string through - simple, cheap, but filled with priceless, glorious memories!!!!

Wow, finally caught up :scared:

Lori, loved the pics!! Harrison is getting SO big!!! :lovestruc

Melody, glad to see you back, can't wait to read about your trip :thumbsup2 Loved your xmas pics, poor little Ernie looks exactly how Kira did when we took Kira to see Santa :lmao:

Nancy, I agree...love seeing all our Bobers here again :woohoo: Now we just need to round up a few more :thumbsup2

Mimi, great tree! Also loved the upside down Spidey :goodvibes

Andy, get better soon!

Bernie, have fun today with the fam  :goodvibes

AFEG, thanks for posting that photo  Perhaps there is a sport I should be watching :rolleyes1
