He is adorable. Great outfit! My DD Megan is a big Manchester United fan. Which I thought was odd for a girl from KY until she showed me a picture of Christiano Renaldo from the team. :lovestruck Does he play soccer? Both of my kids played and loved it.

This is Ronaldo for any (I know very silly thought) who doesn't know who Manchester United are...English,European and now World champions....

We had a really hard frost last night. The temp read -4 degrees when we left for work this morning.

Isn't that like 24-25 degrees F? Welcome to our HIGH temps for the next week (if not all of January and February).

You're lucky there that you're surrounded so much by water to keep your temps up. But for you guys to get down that low is cold. :cold:

I tossed all the cookies and candies out last night. The kids are gone and I sure don't need the temptaion. Did make it to the gym, I am a little sore this am.

Good for you Joanne, got rid of a load of stuff as well.

No, not popular, I just can't get to my pm box. I keep getting "unauthorized access" messages. :confused3 :confused3 :confused3 Every once in awhile I get access but not often. I think someone's messing with my account. :goodvibes

If you can get in to post, then you should have no problem getting into your PM's.

If, by some way, you can post but not PM, then I'd post on the Tech Board and ask the Mods there to take a look.

Isn't it a shame that he's not British. And that's why we don't have a great England team as the majority of our home Soccer teams are made up of players from other countries.

It was cold enough for me. Thank goodness there was no wind to speak of, otherwise it would've been even colder.

English, yes please, then we may actually win something at international level instead of just talking about it for 40 years.....
:rolleyes1

Joanne and Mike

I will join the club in two more days. I have been a BAD BAD boy since the Members Cruise. I gained 12 LBS since and haven't lost so it's TIME. I guess we had to many Konk Kollers Joanne if I want to be able to have more in OCT i better get busy. Thank God Nancy in a WW life time she will get me there because from now on she says she will do the shopping without me so I won't be temped. When your over 65 its hard to loose those extra LBS:rotfl::rotfl:.
Verybody have a great day

Dan

I need Nancy down here to help me. :) I have been using my eliptical 3 to 4 times a week so I have not gained any weight but I have not lost any either.

Sorry, I was reading a little too fast this morning and when I came across your post after reading the ones about people being sick, I read this as you "tossed you cookies". I was thinking, "thanks for the graphic description". :rotfl2:

That's a good attitude Leisha - there's so much to do and see around that time, even with the crowds. I highly recommend the Candlelight Processional. You can also book a really nice backstage tour that takes you around to all of the resorts to look at the decorations and explains how they decorate the place so quickly. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

I am going to start planning for Dec. Tommy and I would love to go early in Dec but for them to go we have to wait until their break. I really want to do the backstage tour. Tommy and I want to do the Keys to the Kingdom tour. Ryan and Alisha are doing that one in July. They got big people gifts this year and I think were a little disappointed.

But he is nice eye candy!

Sorry- glad you figured it out. I have a very bad gag reflex also.

Leisha - Doesn't this mean you are building muscle? I think that is a good thing. And if nothing else, you are improving your cardiovascular system!

Well kids, all caught up. Need to get ready to leave here in 90 minutes to go see Grandma tonight. I'll try to get on tomorrow before we do anything in the evening.

I would second the Candlelight Processional as a "don't miss" thing to do. It was wonderful!

Big people gifts can be a shock to the system of those not used to them - growing up is not all it is cracked up to be sometimes! ;)

Hey everyone!
Brenda- Color me Green with envy that you get to go on the transatlantic. I so wish Sean and I could go on that one, it's cheaper than the PC (cruise alone that is)!
I had it all planned out (even though I knew it wasn't going to happen), fly to London and visit my sister for a couple of days;). Then fly to Barcelona with said sister and sail with her and her gorgeous grump of a hubby to Port Canaveral.
I have to settle with meeting said sister at Port Canaveral and going with her to WDW,since it will be my DD senior year and we all know how expensive that can be (huh Andy), but better something than nothing.:thumbsup2
Anyhoo, have a fantabulous time! And may I officially welcome you to the Friends of BOB club.

Seriously! I mean they kicked Sean out of brunch for wearing a nice shirt and dress shorts, that kind of ticks me off.:headache:
I may get flamed for this, but at brunch I did not see what the big deal was with his attire.

Yes Cass I know you have a ton more class than that lady and will dress appropriately. I think that even a nice pair of capris and blouse can be just as dressy as a formal gown, you'll look beautiful no matter what.

That lady wore the same outfit EVERYDAY, with the exception of formal night I do think she got dressed for that. But I swear she looked as if she slept in those things. Then she got chosen for the the hypnotist, if I had know I would have asked that they put a suggestion of wearing decent clothes at dinner. OUR table I do say was quite a dapper bunch.:cool2: I mean even our dear AFEG had a tux on for formal night.

Maybe the rest of her luggage got lost!

Joanne - Living so near the beach, do you have any New Year's traditions including the ocean, seafood, etc....?

There are groups up this way who jump into the ocean on New Years Day for fund raisers. Usually the ocean is warmer than the air.

Hey Mike & Robin - Look what I found!

This is the street next to my parent's street:

photo-10-1.jpg

What is the significance of the signs, Kathy?

For the most part. Find out today if my car will be considered "totaled" after a small accident that still did a lot of damage to my car. That's what happens when you hit a dump truck and then a semi I guess.

Great day in football yesterday.

Packers win to keep the Lions 0-16

Buccaneers lose and don't make the playoffs (our Nephew is a big Bucs fan, even though he lives here, and would always call when the Packers would lose and the Bucs would win. No calls the last 4 weeks though. :rotfl: )

With the Bucs loss, I didn't have to cheer for the Cowboys and it was nice to see the Eagle kill them yesterday to keep them out of the playoffs.

Bears lost and are out.

Broncos lost and are out.

Patriots lost and are out.

And how about the Dolphins? Not a fan, but to go from 1-15 to winning the AFC East this year, pretty impressive.

The Patriots didn't lose -they just needed Miami &/or Baltimore to lose & that didn't happen so they're out.

Good morning everyone...

Things are going well here in CT. I guess we have some snow in the forecast for tomorrow. It's very windy right now. I have to take a short drive about 45 minutes away to return the currency counter we rented for the season, and then my father in law and I are taking the kids bowling today. That should be a good time. The bowling alley is really high tech and in addition to computerized scoring, the bumpers come up automatically for the kids if we set it that way, then retract for us adults.

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I was reading rather fast and thought the same thing!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Bowling should be a lot of fun Chris - after the hours you have had to put in, you deserve some fun! Enjoy!
