I just walked in the door...it's 1:30 am and there's no way I am catching up I'll do that tomorrow!


My sister and I went to supper and a movie tonight. We went to see the Benjamin Button movie. Holy crap...I'm warning you now...if you go see this...bring a whole box of kleenex!!!

It was an amazing movie but at the same time, it was the saddest movie I have ever seen!!!!!!

I'm more emotional since I had Kira but I think I was teary eyed for most of the movie and then I balled my eyes out for the last 30 mins!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to wake Kira up and hold her and cuddle her when I got home

Not the kind of movie I should have seen on the anniversary of my mom's death but nevertheless, it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, off to bed for me.

Yes, thanks for the warning Cass! I'm going to see it this weekend.

i did the Harrison Ford in the movie Working Girl thing and sent robin to work with her lunch box in hand, so now i'm off to the tiling project.

i should have put some racy photos of myself in robins lunchbox eh??
that would make her sick.

Too bad about TDS for Lina. It's really terrible out there for the economy. Is she still in school? I think I asked that a while back but never saw the answer.

Hope you're feeling better soon Andy. We started the stomach bug during our WDW trip last week and have been passing it around. EB was the last to get it and was down and out yesterday. Seems to take a good two full days before you can function again.

I did alot of baking too. I made a couple trays to give away but still have more to eat. By the way, I just ate one cookie. They all taste so good. I want more. I can't. Will Power. I froze alot of the treats for later. Diane

I tossed all the cookies and candies out last night. The kids are gone and I sure don't need the temptaion. Did make it to the gym, I am a little sore this am.

Howdy Folks........

Checking in from sickbay this morning. Still home with the flu but starting to feel a little better, not even going to try and catch up here, looks like a lot of pages were added since I last signed on.........

Fever finally broke yesterday, but my head is still in a fog. I could only imagine how I would have felt if I didn't have the flu shot in October......

Lina got "the call" from The Disney Store yesterday. Because of the sagging economy, none of the 30 seasonal employees that were hired are being offered part-time positions at the store. In fact, some of theor regular part-time employees are losing hours. At least Lina still has her babysitting job at the moment to tide her over.

Well guys, I'll try and check back in later, time for my meds and some more rest. I've got to get back into work tomorrow and Friday to get Thursday's holiday pay.

Good Morning All! I hope everyone has a great day! I will be taking down Christmas trees today - as soon as my son wakes so my dear sweet husband can go retrieve boxes from the attic for me. I do not like this job - it it time consuming and somewhat sad.

Andy - Feel better. I am sorry about Lina's job. I'm glad she has the babysitting. Is she in school?

Mike - I hope the tiling goes well. That is something I would love to learn to do.

Kathy - Try to get some work done today instead of dreaming about the Atrium Club all day - oh, what the heck... dream about it!

Di - I want to see Christmas morning pictures of those kiddos!

Hi Di. Rick and I will start again in the new year. Whats the new program consist of. I haven't been for some years, but keep track of my weight by weighing myself at home once a week. I haven't done it yet, but like you, I know I;ve put on weight as trousers are a bit snug!

I am right here with you. Have to get strict again.

I have to say I felt a lot better when I was excercising. I just feel lazy now.

I will join the club in two more days. I have been a BAD BAD boy since the Members Cruise. I gained 12 LBS since and haven't lost so it's TIME. I guess we had to many Konk Kollers Joanne if I want to be able to have more in OCT i better get busy. Thank God Nancy in a WW life time she will get me there because from now on she says she will do the shopping without me so I won't be temped. When your over 65 its hard to loose those extra LBS.

Hi Leisha! Glad to see you back! Post those poochie pictures please!

I can't wait to write my trip report in a few weeks! We have so many cool plans this time, plus I can't wait to see the Hoop Dee Doo Review again!

If you're looking to see the decorations, it's a lot less crowded in the beginning of December, and you still get all the Christmas stuff. I think the kids can manage without you - won't this be their first married Christmas? Have they decided on their Honeymoon plans yet? Or is Tommy still offering the kennel?

It will be their first married Christmas. We have made their reservations for the Wilderness lodge for the honeymoon. Tommy had given them a hard time up to that point. They have their list for ADR that we will make in a couple of weeks. Things are going along with the wedding plans. I am staying out of most of it. I feel that it is safer that way. My brother and I have been making the plans for next Christmas. His girls are 14 and 12. I am looking forward to spending time with them. Mike and I decided that if the crowds bothered Tommy and Kolleen they can stay at the resort and we will enjoy the adventure.

He is adorable. Great outfit! My DD Megan is a big Manchester United fan. Which I thought was odd for a girl from KY until she showed me a picture of Christiano Renaldo from the team. Does he play soccer? Both of my kids played and loved it.

Hey Joanne - I try to do it before New Year's. Usually Mack and I do it with the help our our son, but Mack has had to go back to work already and won't be off till tomorrow. I don't want to do it tomorrow, so I will just try to get it done today. Mack will still have the village to do - that is his special project. I don't know how you stay off the beach enough to get anything done. I just connected with my undergrad little sister after 25 years (my undergrad college is steeped in tradition and we had sister classes) and found out she lives on the beach at the Outer Banks - one of our favorite places! She is thinking of moving - how horrid!!!! I really was born to live on the water.

Speaking of trees - I just realized I never posted pictures of my trees. I will have to at least post the skinny tree - it is the one in our game/sports/theater room. I have never had a theme tree, but when we built this room, we decided to put a tree in here and add only things that reflected what the room was about, so all the ornaments are sports, media, or games. There are some Disney ones on there. I'll try to get the pictures.

So - I guess I could swing down after New Years Day and give you a hand!

That's a good attitude Leisha - there's so much to do and see around that time, even with the crowds. I highly recommend the Candlelight Processional. You can also book a really nice backstage tour that takes you around to all of the resorts to look at the decorations and explains how they decorate the place so quickly. I'm sure you'll have a great time.
