Hi all! I am back to work and doing the important things like catching up on the posts.:surfweb: I will post pictures of my doggies as soon as Tommy gets home to help me. I am technologically challenged. :confused3 I am so glad that everyone had a good holiday. Ours was wonderful.

Kathy I can not wiat to read your report from WDW in a couple of weeks.

I have a question for the ones that were in WDW the last few weeks. How were the crowds and was it worth fighting the crowd. We are thinking about going next year between Christmas and New Year. The kids will not be able to go because it is peak season at UPS and they can not get off so I guess it will just be me and Tommy. I feel so bad leaving the precious children for that long.:rolleyes1

Hi Leisha! Glad to see you back! Post those poochie pictures please!

I can't wait to write my trip report in a few weeks! :yay: We have so many cool plans this time, plus I can't wait to see the Hoop Dee Doo Review again!

If you're looking to see the decorations, it's a lot less crowded in the beginning of December, and you still get all the Christmas stuff. I think the kids can manage without you - won't this be their first married Christmas? Have they decided on their Honeymoon plans yet? Or is Tommy still offering the kennel? :lmao:

Kathy - You've been to the World so many times, maybe you know the answer to this. It appeared from the filming of the parade that MK is not fully decorated at that time. Do you know if this is true? I mean they did not have the swags across Main Street because some of the parade things were too tall and it looked as though it was possible - from the positioning of the hosts - they did not have the big tree up.

My understanding is that the parade is filmed about a month before Christmas, so the decorations should be up, since they start on Thanksgiving. You are right about them having to take some stuff down for the filming. They film the parade in starts and stops and I believe the film the acts and the castle show on a different day. In the past, they used to offer tickets to AP holders, but I don't believe they did that this year. At least a lot people were complaining about it. In the past, you had to have a wristlet to get into the parade area.

They used to offer them to DVCers too - or at least they did last year; we got a notice about it. It would be interesting to see some time, though I am sure it is painstaking with all the stopping and restarting.

Just in case someone hasn't answered, you can get away with almost anything now, which to me is a shame. Rick and I make a point of dressing up for formal night - Rick in a suit and me in a nice dress.

princess Heather in a nice red dress as i recall.:lovestruc

One lady on a recent cruise wore the same red shorts every night to dinner. How rude was that?

you didnt like Bigreds short shorts?:lovestruc walt and i loved them.:cool2:

In 2005, my luggage didn't arrive until after 10pm and the only thing I had was shorts. Even though it was the first night and it was a casual attire that night, it just felt wrong to wear my shorts to dinner in Lumieres. :sad2: I felt so out of place. I LOVE shorts and could wear them everyday but it just felt wrong to be wearing them in a lovely restaurant. Just before dinner we ran into Mike & Robin in Mickey's Mates and they were SO gorgeous!!! I was SO embarrassed  :scared: They were all clean and purdy and I looked like I was ready to hit the Magic Kingdom  :rolleyes1

maybe robin was gorgeous and purdy:cutie: , but i'd like to think i was handsome and charming.:rolleyes1 :cool2: :lmao:

as i recall, you had that princess Leia costume you could have worn.:cheer2:

hey!! speaking of addison.:cutie:
we're going to have to go to Fl. and check that street out.

if it was Addison Way it would be more appropriate, because addison must have her own way.:scared1: :lmao:

sorry to hear brenda and jason arnt going. we were looking forward to meeting them.:sad2:

Evening guys.

Cass, I love the pics of Kira. She is so beautiful. Great dress!

What is this that Brenda and Jason aren't going? What else have I missed?

How is everyone else? We are kidless this week. The kids stayed in WV with my parents this week. So it's just Scott and I this week.

Here's a pic from Christmas morning......our own little David Beckham. Sean and Cath sent Harrison this great football outfit.
