Unfortunately, at my workplace and DH's workplace it is still MONDAY!!

I am also sitting here resisting the temptation to order the 3 piece luggage set on the Disney shopping website....they have a 1/2 off code, but I don't know if I should buy luggage sight unseen in the days of "pay to check your luggage".

I had promised Elijah my grandson a chicken sandwich for breakfast from Macdonald's today for his 11th birthday. I can't believe he is 11 years old.

this is very true! I have a HUGE suitcase and that will be it for me.. I'm a pretty light packer..lol this being gone for over a week (that is not just camping) will test my skills I think..lol

But how I wish we were going now.. always wanted to go on a cruise.. and now I get to go with friends as well.. thats a nice feeling

We had 3 inches of snow yesterday now it's 50 degrees the snow is gone and it's raining. It feel like an early spring storm. Well as they say here in Maine if you don't like the weather wait a minute.
Nancy is a busy girl this week she has three days that she is subbing. She worked Monday she is working today and Friday. She left me a list to keep me busy.
Joanne we liked the pictures you posted. Whats with the jeans and sweatshirt. Was it that cold?
Everybody have a great afternoon. Im caught up with my work so im going out with two of my friends and watch horse racing ( Harness) from NJ and NY this afternoon.

I know how you feel...I was one of the original group that planned to book the BOB cruise 2 years out!!!

The time should start to go by soon....we'll get to start planning airline flights, shore excursions, and all that fun stuff!

This is only the second time that I've followed the show, but I've never seen a less likable more whiny group of people. I do like Michelle now that she's toughened up a bit but my gawd ... I just want to reach through the television and smack those people around.

And as for Vicky ... ugh, don't get me started. She's the unhappiest person I've ever seen (other than Jay's sister and that's a conversation for another week) and perhaps one of the most unpleasant as well.

Here's what I say about the lot:

Brenda, this (in my opinion!) has been the worst cast EVER!! Normally there are many people I am rooting for and usually there's only one a$$ in the bunch that you secretly hope gains all the weight back but not this season!!

This season there were a lot of jerks and bullies Normally Bob is SOBBING in the last episode because he is going to miss his team members but not this show. The only one that he really liked I think was Amy (Phil's wife) which he almost molested on the bed right in front of Phil (that was a great BL moment!!!)

And I agree with you about voting for that person who didn't want to be chosen. What a bunch of CRAP!!! WHUT-EVAH!!!!!!

UGH, I can't wait for a new (better) season!

I know how you feel...I was one of the original group that planned to book the BOB cruise 2 years out!!!

The time should start to go by soon....we'll get to start planning airline flights, shore excursions, and all that fun stuff!

I have a spread sheet with everything I can find that each place offers with prices so the family and I can go through and weed out what we do and don't want to do..lol as for the flights.. I really hope they come down in price... the more we have to pay for those the less we can do for excursions

Wow!!! It is really cold here too. At my daughter's house there was snow/sleet/frost on the ground/cars. She lives closer to the hill country. All the cars needed to be defrosted. I only live 8 miles away and it was not that way here. Not one bit of frost. I woke up late this morning. I had to rush. I had promised Elijah my grandson a chicken sandwich for breakfast from Macdonald's today for his 11th birthday. I can't believe he is 11 years old. How time fly when you having fun!!! I made it to Macdonald's in time to get it for him. Asiah put candles on his sandwich and we sang to him. He was very happy. Then I drove them to school. We listened to Christmas music the entire way. They usually ride the bus so this was a treat too. My daughter left dogs in the house. Hope they behave!!! No walk for them and it's too cold for them to stay outside. Now I have to do errands and go to my annual dentist appt. Not my favorite thing. I love my dental hygenist but I don't like anyone messing with my teeth. Bah Humbug!!! Then I have to run get Krispy Kreme donuts for Elijah to share with his class and then also get his and Asiah's lunch. He requested Chic-fil-Lait. (sp) You know I spoiled my grandkids so much. I will be running crazy. I haven't even got his present yet. He wants a remote control helicopter but they all look so cheap. I don't want to buy something for him and it break the first day. Well, I just finished my cup of coffee and muffin so I need to take a shower and get ready to leave. Talk to you all later. Diane

I'm meeting Frank in NYC tonight and we're going to see The Nutcracker at the NYC Ballet. We've been doing this every year since I was 15 and he was 18, which is a long time! After the show, we're going to Cafe Fiorello for dinner and my all time favorite dessert: Profiteroles!!! They are cream puffs made with ice cream and the waiter douses them with melted chocolate from a copper pot! I can't wait!

Kids 12 and under can sail free on most 3-night cruises from January 22 through May 28, 2009 with two full-fare Guests in the same stateroom.

I was hoping for any 3rd-4th passenger was free. Oh well. We can't go during the dates anyway.

That sounds wonderful! I love The Nutcracker. I think next year my granddaughter might be old enough - they do a couple productions in Portland but nothing as good as NYC I'm sure. Have a great time!

ok it's not a cookie but it is sinful and sooooooo good!!!
they are called "Goof balls"

cut regular marshmallows in half

in a pot melt 3 macintosh toffee bars with 1 can of condensed milk


dip marshmallow into melted toffee and roll into rice crispies


repeat and let cool on wax paper....bet you can't eat just one!

Oh, that sounds yummy! I'll bet you're right, I won't stop at just one.
