Hello everyone. It is shaping up to be a very long day. I guess it is because I am so tired from last night, but honestly today is just dragging by. I just ordered pizza for me and the kids as Elaine is at the Extreme Makeover Home Edition site. It sounds like she is really busy as they show ran out of food so everyone is coming to to our canteen to eat. Last night we were just primarily a quick snack stop. We served hot/cold beverages, and snack items.

Hi Robin

How was your shopping day? Walt and I did a toy run with our Harley friends. We were the only ones not on our bikes. It was 30 degrees. Walt and I did not want to freeze. All Walt's friends called him a WUS. It turned out to be a nice day. We had a barbecue at the Harley dealer for lunch. We have just hung out the rest of the day. We just made a quick trip to daughter's house while they went to eat with some firends to leave St. Nick's treats. Now back home and in our pj's. Tomorrow we have Meghan our granddaughter's birthday party to go to at noon. Then Asiah has to cheer at a playoff game tomorrow night. It is my daughter Kristen's real birthday tomorrow. She will be 35. I guess I am getting old. I can't believe it. I will have to get her a cake in the morning. Kids and I already went shopping and they have her presents hidden in the house. I am giving her a combination Christmas/Birthday present on Christmas. A real nice camera. (still and movie) just what she needs with all her kids activities. Di

Hi all,

Spent the day at MGM. Sterted out rainy and ended up rainy- but in between gorgeous. Family didn't show until 2, SO ds and I did Rockin RC twice TOT had lunch and went to the Action show all before they arrived.

All of you are right. Fantasmic scared them too! They loved Toy story. Make a Wish gives them an all day fast pass. So they did it twice.

Ate lunch at SCI FI and dinnner at the Pizza place on the Board walk at 9 pm.\ Had a Mickey Bar today!!! It was yummy.

Sounds like great fun! I thought I tasted something chocolate earlier in the day - must have been my Mickey bar!!

I would start the process soon - it takes awhile. We got ours last winter & had them in plenty of time for our Oct. '08 cruise.

If you are looking for a new tv, you should stop at BEST BUY. I really like the Samsung 42 and thinking about that one for Amanda and I. Even if you don't purchase a tv from us, you still will want to know what you need to hook it up. I don't work in that area of the store, so I'm not an expert on this to say the least. Make sure that you purchase HDMI cables otherwise the picture will not look as good as it can. If you find one you like, I can ask the guys at work what they think.

It FINALLY snowed!!!!!!!

It is soooooo pretty!!!!.. we were at Heritage Park today (it is a park dedicated to history of Calgary aka buildings and such) And it started snowing when we left the house... we went on a hay ride and it was beautiful!! wet.... cold.... but very pretty..lol

I am from the moutains orginally so i am very used to snow.. in fact so much snow you need to shovel your roof off for fear it might cave in.. lol so when it FINALLY snows in Calgary I love it.. it only stays for a few days then it goes back to looking dead and dirty again..sigh

Sean just got back from his conference in Tulsa today. He said that on the way there they sat on the tarmac for 2 hrs waiting to be deiced in Denver. Then I guess it was very cold in Tulsa as well. He kept saying it was cold here but not as cold as Tulsa to where it became a joke. We went out to Starbucks and he took a sip of his coffee and he said "wow that's hot", I said "not as hot as the Panama Canal", yep buddy two can play that game.

Good Morning All, time to start yet another work week, well, except for those who are retired that is..........
