Jen
Sorry to hear about your Mom, hopefully she'll change her mind:thumbsup2
I didnt receive Thomas' card yet? Are you sending it to the Sutton address or Great Barr? Never mind, if you pm me your address I'll send one to you:thumbsup2

Thats a shame Jen. Anything we can do to covince her not to do it?

Karen - Thomas's teacher said a few of the postcards came back because they thought the school was the delivery address - am sending a PM in a few minutes:)

His teacher said Thomas got the most postcards back of anyone - thanks DISers!!!!

As for my mom, she's retired, so some of her $$ went down the tubes with the stock market. I think she's looking at ways to cut back, but she's also convinced nothing could top the last cruise! We had so much fun. I'm trying to be fair and not "guilt" her into going, but it's sure hard. She hasn't cancelled her ressie yet, so we'll wait and see.

I was going to give her a BOB t-shirt for Christmas - I had the transfers printed out but not ironed on yet...guess I won't do that now. I did get DL t-shirts made...will post pics later.

Hi Robin

How was your shopping day? Walt and I did a toy run with our Harley friends. We were the only ones not on our bikes. It was 30 degrees. Walt and I did not want to freeze. All Walt's friends called him a WUS. It turned out to be a nice day. We had a barbecue at the Harley dealer for lunch. We have just hung out the rest of the day. We just made a quick trip to daughter's house while they went to eat with some firends to leave St. Nick's treats. Now back home and in our pj's. Tomorrow we have Meghan our granddaughter's birthday party to go to at noon. Then Asiah has to cheer at a playoff game tomorrow night. It is my daughter Kristen's real birthday tomorrow. She will be 35. I guess I am getting old. I can't believe it. I will have to get her a cake in the morning. Kids and I already went shopping and they have her presents hidden in the house. I am giving her a combination Christmas/Birthday present on Christmas. A real nice camera. (still and movie) just what she needs with all her kids activities. Di

Shopping was fun. We spent about $200 on clothes for Addison and Brady. Brady has grown out of everything, so we gave them to Michael and Courtney last night. We really didn't get much christmas shopping done yesterday. I love buying the kids stuff.

I hear you have been busy with your grandchildren too. They are a blast, aren't they? Tell Kristen we said Happy Birthday.

Merry Christmas Cath, Sean, Andy and Hazel:goodvibes

Neil is just leaving to fetch the WW. :sad2:

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
Karen - Good luck dealing with the WW. Keep the wine poured, a smile on your face, and know you are a wonderful woman who keeps a wonderful home, and is raising a wonderful young man that happens to be her grandson. Ellis was adorable with all the prezzies. I know he was excited.

Everyone who will be in the World for the weekend of the 19th - 21st: We are meeting at the Boulangerie in Paris at 4:45 on Saturday - come join us! We'll have something with us to identify oursleves as being with the Bash.

Have a great day everyone! Dan and Nancy - I hope you're keeping warm! Joanne - enjoy the World! Mike - get the puppy!!!!

HI everyone!

I know I sound like a broken record, but I just want to say thanks again for all the well wishes.:goodvibes

The 20th sounds fine to me for a mini meet at WDW.

Today is my 2nd day in a row with no headache!

think again sweet polly.:sad2:

they're cute when someone else takes care of them.

Sorry to everyone else, but Mike I absolutely agree with you:thumbsup2
Love dogs, but don't want to pick up after them or bath them.
I like my self-cleaning low key cats, and I don't have to handle their warm poopies in a baggie, eeewwww:scared: the kitty litter scooper is far enough away and they're covered up in litter.

Bob wants a dog very badly if we live together, marry, whatever....
Fine.... dog for him, cat for me but we each take care of our own and it will work out nicely:)

And the ferret stays!:cloud9: Sorry Bob:rolleyes1

Hazel and I are off to A.C. Moore, they have t-shirts on sale 5 for $10.00 and I need some smaller size t-shirts for my morning workouts!!! :goodvibes

Good afternoon everyone.

I just got up after working an all night shift at the Extreme Makeover Home Edition site. I was only supposed to work until 2:00 am, but my relief never showed so I shut down at 6 am. Due to the snow it took me almost 40 minutes to get home. Usually it is about 10-15!

The workers were grateful and the Chicken Noodle soup was a big hit when it was cold and snowing during the night.
