My mom told me about all the congrats and the well wishes for our wedding. Jesse and I just wanted to jump on here and thank all of you. We had great winter weather, a little cold but no rain, snow or slush and the sun peeked out for a while too. The food was great and the cake was even better. We still have so much of it left over.:scared:

To GOS Heather, the B stands for our last name. :thumbsup2

My mom will post more pictures as people give them to her. She didn't take many and good luck having her post any of herself. She looked so pretty even when she was crying. ;)

Paige, best wishes for a speedy recovery. We pray that all goes well and that you'll be feeling better soon.

So, thanks again and we can't wait to see you all in 11 months!

Kristin and Jesse :bride: :groom:

Team Fun Pants - the best screen name ever!!!! Good to see you on here. So glad everything went so wonderfully!!!!

It's taken me a long time to catch up on all the posts since I was last on Friday night. I didn't capture quotes as I went along so I have to rely on my memory. hah!

First, we send our very best wishes out to Paige. Even though we haven't met in person we feel like we know you. So lots of prayers & good luck. Anxious to hear how you're doing.

Mimi, you asked about the weekend. The hockey games were great. 2 wins & a tie & Jason scored 4 goals. But it was COLD, COLD, COLD! Way too cold for Nov. We had snow, it was 22 degrees & the wind blew for both days. Brandon didn't dress for the game after all - not sure why but there was a reason. They lost anyway. No way would I have sat out for that even if he had played. I love him but....!

Somebody I read had made ressies for DVC for before the cruise. That made me realize the 11 month mark is here! By next week I can do the whole trip - before & after.

Nancy G, glad the wedding went off well. The pictures are beautiful - hope to see more.

Tell me more about tiara tarts!!

Hello to everyone else.

NK

So where is everyone? Did I scare you away?!!! I have to leave at 7 - our school system is starting a new computer/phone system for calling subs. Tonight is one of the on-line training sessions. I'm not sure I'm going to like it but if I want to keep working I have to give it a try.

Nancy - Maybe it will be user-friendly and easier than what you've had. I bet you'll be great with it!

Hi gang! I could use little pixie dust tonight :sad2:

Came in this morning and found out that a co-worker's 35 year old wife didn't wake up yesterday morning, leaving behind her husband, a 7 year old and 3 year old twins...:sad1:

Then the news about Paige who, even though I've never met her, I feel like I know. I've been thinking her all day and send her hugs and prayers! pixiedust:

For the end of a perfect day: I just got home from the Dr. where I was diagnosed with a kidney infection so severe and sudden, the Dr. thought I had a kidney stone, which I don't, THANK GOD!!! sorry for the run-on sentence Mimi! I've never had an infection like this before so I was really wigged out that I wouldn't be able to go to CT for Thanksgiving, but it all worked out. just 7 days of antibiotics and several gallons of water & cranberry juice :rolleyes1

OK, end of pity party :rolleyes1

Good morning all

The wedding went off without a hitch and I'll be posting pictures later. But first things first....

Please include our friend Paige in your thoughts and prayers today. I've been given permission from Paige herself to let you all know that on Saturday she was taken to the hospital because she became ill. After a few tests and an MRI later they found a tumor NEXT to her brain. It is 99% sure that it is NON malignant and quite operable. Hopefully, she'll be able to have the surgery tomorrow. If not, she'll have to wait until next week sometime.

Rob will keep us updated on Paige's progress.

Please send lots of Hugs and Pixie Dust to our Sistah P.

Loads of prayers, hugs and pixie dust for Paige, Rob and the kids :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust: pixiedust:

Hey Sis! I am so sorry about the co-worker and family. I take it this was quite unexpected. I am also sorry about your kidney infection - cranberry juice is our friend in many ways! Drink your cranberries!

Now about that run-on sentence.... what's a run-on sentence between sisters??? No worries here - I'm finished grading for the holiday!

Sorry to hear you had such a cruddy day ... here are some hugs from Stinktown (OFallon may smell, but I don't!).   Hope you feel better soon Kathy!

The news about your co-worker's wife is so sad. Between that and Paige's sudden problem it really does put things into perspective, doesn't it?

I've also heard from Paige and she's in good spirits hoping that she will be able to have surgery tomorrow rather than having to wait another week. I'm sure she can feel all the pixie dust and good thoughts that everyone has sent her way. :grouphug:

:bday: party: :bday: Belated Happy Birthday Kira!!!:cutie: princess:

Thanks, Pixie! Yes, the new about Suresh's wife was very shocking and sad. Plus they are Hindu and need to get her back to India, which is another headache :headache:

Thanks for ignoring my grammar! :flower3:

Wow, you said it! I feel so whiny right now.

Thanks for sharing that info with us and I am praying that she can through this as quickly and painlessly as possible! :flower3:

Well, I just got off the hour long conference call training session. I (and a few others) couldn't get into the site so we couldn't see what was happening. So I just listened & have to go to the super's office tomorrow to do the rest. Bummer. Right now it all sounds quite complicated. I'd rather get the call from the principal or the secretary! I'll keep you posted.

Wow Kathy? Do they know what happened to her? That's very young to go that way. How sad.

My boss said they thought it was a massive stroke. They did have a wake tonight, which I missed because I was at the dr. (I didn't know Hindu people had wakes, but it was actually at a Hindu funeral home :confused3 I believe they will make the arrangements to get her back to India as well. ) Hopefully, some of my co-workers will have more info tomorrow. I'm sure that Suresh is devastated, not to mention those poor kids :sad2:

Prayers for your co-worker's family...

Take care of yourself :grouphug:

Thanks so much - i really appreciate it :flower3:
