:thumbsup2 Jeff's my travel guide/tour operator:hug: . I just go where he tells me at whatever time he tells me:rotfl2:

He was even willing to sit in our nut free zone so we werent "Billy no mates" at dinner. (Do you have that term over there or should I explain?:confused3 )

I can honestly say his lovely family and the KK'ers made our holiday last year. Being a new cruiser we would have missed out on so much if it hadnt been for the KK'ers knowledge.:thumbsup2

Karen, when we were involved with the Scavenger Hunt in Rockin Bar D last year the announcer asked for a Navigator. Jesse grabbed my hand and dragged me up to the stage saying I was his Navigator. Poor kid, he is so brainwashed. I don't know a fraction of what some of the other DISers know. He did, however, get extra points for being creative with his answer.
We gave up on the game when the team next to us brought some hot looking guy with a scar dressed as a woman. We were defeated!! :worship: Let's see, I have a picture of him somewhere.......:goodvibes

No, she said she's going but Chuck isn't. However, Lori isn't going but her DH Scott is.

It was decided that Scott would be Nancy's date. :rotfl:

Saweeet!!!:cutie:

Brunch is actually very good. Suz would pick it over dinner if she could only have one.

As for missing a dinner, I always plan Palo for the night of the Master Chef menu. Don't like that one. :crazy2:

No one will ever talk me into dinner at Palo. I'd be happy with chicken fingers or a turkey pannini every night for dinner.;)

I didn't like the fancy schmancy food but I am certainly willing to give it another try. Besides, have you seen a picture of my hot date for the morning? Hubba hubba!!! :thumbsup2

I heard - it's Scott :woohoo:

Nice, and you drop me like a hot potato???  Was it something I said Kathy. Wahhhhhhhhhhh!!!!:goodvibes

Nooooooo. Am I only allowed to have 1 moving buddy?

Boy, I would LOVE to see that picture sometime, if you can find it ;)

Matthew,

Please don't let the speed of the thread keep you away. Just jump in when you have time. Anything important will be linked to in post #1 or on Cass' website. :thumbsup2

Oh I don't intend to stay away at all. I just might miss some replies or questions. So, if I don't respond to anyone, just PM me. :rolleyes1

Matthew :thumbsup2

Oh no, I'm the thread killer this time! :scared1:

Mother Goose? Jeff, Paige, Andy, Lori, Scott, anyone.....

I'll have to look around for it.

Phew, I didn't scare everyone away. I hope everything goes well on Saturday.

I don't even get to wait until DS goes to bed. I"m up on the system by 8:00. Last night, however, it was down so I couldn't log in. Went to bed early last night.

I'm usually up and on it by 6:00 in the morning then too for another hour.

It beats the old way of working here and then driving 35-45 minutes home very late at night.

Even though he works long hours, he wouldn't give it up for the world now. If he had to commute to work every day, he would only see Kira for 1-2 hours per day :sad2: Right now he eats breakfast with her, lunch with her and then gets to spend about 2 hours after supper with her. Plus he gets to sneak upstairs and give her a big hug and kiss before naptime too :lovestruc

Don't forget the camera. ;)

(we'll be expecting pictures)

Bahaha, I had TWO crazy dogs, a leash, a ball-thrower thingy (technical term ;) ) and a 2 year old. Camera was left at home ::yes::

Hey everyone. I am checking in while I wait for chinese take out. Oh, I am baking some brownies to eat while I work into the night as well...

I am not sure yet on the Palo Brunch. Our family is thinking of doing brunch. This will be my parents and sisters 3rd DCL cruise and they haven't been to Palo yet. We are thinking Brunch is a nice way to try it out, and my dad doesn't want to miss a night in the restaurants.

Hmmm brownies are my new love  Feel free to have your own brunch with your family Chris :thumbsup2 Cruising is also family time ;)

Yup, me too...Master Chef for Palo ! I don't like that menu either :crazy2: except for my cheesecake :lovestruc

That is why I absolutely LOVE my new job. My official work hours are 6am - 3pm, but now I get to see the kids off an on throughout the day. We have all meals together and I get to take Amelia to school and pick her up. It is so much better compared to when I worked out of the house. I love being around for them!!! My job is a little more difficult and intense, but I wouldn't change it for anything!

No offense to anyone, but EB and I decided that our Palo brunch and dinner reservations will be solo since we so rarely get any time alone together.

We still want to do other meets with you all, though!!!

Well, I have read it all, made notes - now let's see if I can comment on all I wanted....
Heather - the flowers you and your Mum did were beautiful. Phaleonopsis (sp?) orchids are one of my favorites, but I love orchids anyway. You both are so creative and your sense of achieving balance is incredibly creative. Wonderful arrangements and great pictures! That little great-nephew is a cutie too.

Leisha - I am so sorry things are stressful for the wedding. I really hope it all goes well and you find a way to enjoy it all. I am also sorry about the car laon - geez, you do what you think is right and help someone, and it comes back to bite you - sorry!

Kathy - I wish I had gotten sent home.:sad1:

The picture of Thomas with Stitich is priceless - I can't remember whose it is, but that face is priceless!!!!

Joanne - I'm with you! I want everyone's pictures with their names and screen names, so I can try to learn them better.

Happy belated birthday, Becky! I hope it was your best yet!!!!

Brenda - So sorry you have to go through PT. I have not liked it either stretch. I hope it goes well and does the trick!

Nan - I believe it was you who asked how I had 9 days off. I have all next week off and the weekends on either side.

Cass - I think you have done a wonderful job with everything on here! You are amazingly talented. Thank you!

So, down here in the South - in Georgia, it is already 35 degrees and rather chilly for our normal. The wind chiil has taken it into the 20's overnight and was below freezing at noon. The kids at school are of course, all ready to be out for the holiday. I am ready for the break too. I will be happy to have my own children home too! Off to eat dinner - I'll check in later!

No offense taken!

I think this might have been mentioned already, but we're only talking about doing brunch as a group. We figured people would want to have romantic (as in alone time) dinners

Ok Jeff, so what kind of work do you do that you're also able to be at home? :goodvibes We should form a WFH club!!! :thumbsup2

Well said, Cass!!!:worship:

Ok, let me clear up a few things for you guys since not everyone knows the whole story except me I guess. I'm sorry...I should have said something earlier.
<snip>

And most importantly...let's all have some FUN people!!! We will be on the greatest cruise ship ever (at least top 2 ;) ) and the whole point is to have fun!!!! :woohoo:

.

Kathy - I wish I had gotten sent home.:sad1:

It was fun - almost like a snow day but without the harrowing drive home. Our water main break actually made the evening news. It's affecting 18 towns in 3 counties! We are on a 'water boil' alert until further notice.

If it's not fixed by tomorrow, we might get ANOTHER day off!!!:yay: I'll have to wear my pj's inside out tonight. :rolleyes1
