Hmmmm, I must have unconsciously used my fart fairy skills to clear the thread. :rotfl2:

Guess I'll go to work and try to find a way to squash this $3.6 million airball that's sitting on my desk. :scared1:

Hope everyone has a nice day. I'm going to resurface for air on Friday night ... :goodvibes

My favorite Christmas goodie is fudge. What's everyone else's?

My boss bakes dozens and dozens of choclate chip cookies(from scratch) and gives each one of us in the department two dozen cookies. I have to be very careful this year though with how many I consume..........;)

Don't come to my house, then. On Sunday night, I had a friend deliver dinner to us, chocolate chip cookies (lots of them) for dessert. Last night, the dessert with the dinner was apple crumb pie with the same frosting that they use at Cinnabon. I love my friends but they will get me really fat. What are friends for, right?

I meant to tell y'all--Sunday night was spaghetti, Monday night was Chicken pastries (kinda like pot pie) with peas and rice, and tonight-----Shrimp Pad Thai!!! I am so excited--Giap is cooking for us tonight. She is an awesome cook, and I hardly ever get to eat authentic Thai food. Like I said--I love my friends.:rotfl: I think after the new year, we will have to have a party and I will have to cook a huge gumbo for everyone....maybe for Mardi Gras.

More great pics Karen! What is in the rolls of paper with ribbon on the table? Are those gifts or decoration?

Nancy those are called crackers. You pull them apart at the ends and they make a popping sound and little prizes fall out ... usually a party hat, and a little toy, and maybe a joke or saying written on a small piece of paper. We ordered some one year for the kids at Christmas ... made a mess but lots of fun for them.

BTW, you British folks can feel free to correct me if I explained that poorly. :goodvibes

Great explanantion Brenda:thumbsup2

Got it. At first I saw only the empty ends but when I looked a little closer I see the ribbons are actually securing something inside.

Are those ever stuffed with chocolate mice?? :goodvibes

Usually a little toy, bottle opener, tiny photo frame, tape measure, tiny screwdriver set... all useless stuff you shove in a drawer and forget about:rotfl2:

You guys don't have Christmas crackers?...:confused3 These Americans are so uncouth....:snooty:

:rotfl:
