Di, that is very cool! I hope you will get to go see her!!! My best friend or the sister God didn't give me sent her middle daughter down last year to work in the park on an independent study. She ended up being a princess and some other characters. She tested or auditioned at the highest level of their dance program, but her initial date was after the roles had been cast for that season. Bummer for her in terms of theatrical experience in dance, but still she got to work there.

Yes our niece did one semester of college down there too and then Disney offered her a job when she graduated. She really loves dancing and working for Disney. She has been dancing since she learned to walk. Di

I wish this cruise was sooner..lol I need a vacation badly!! and this is our biggest family vacation ever.. seeing as how my son is all grown up now...hehehe better late then never right?..lol

I feel the same way. The cruise bug is hitting me more and more every day. This is especially true with each cold day! The tropics are calling me.

It isn't as impresssive as it sounds. I still have to pay the full fare. I just only had to put $125/pp down for a deposit to make a reservation instead of the $250 that is normal. It was a promotion DU and DCL were running at least in August when I booked. I just have a larger balance due now.

DCL is still running the 50% off deposit. It is $125 pp according to the website.

The CM did say that at this time there isn't a fuel surcharge for new ressies but that is subject to change if the prices go up.

Top Chef is almost over which means it's time for bed.

By the way, if anyone needs a good book about leadership, I recommend Lee Cockerell (sp?). He spent 10 years as an exec at WDW. It's a good read while the ideas aren't out of reach for most leaders/mangers.

indeed!! I think cause I am excited for christmas it is transfering into the cruise aswell..lol This is the first one for all of us, and with the actual proper planning (for once) we are going to be able to do alot of things.. so it will be sooooooo cool.. we are spending a few days after the cruise to explore Florida aswell... going on a air boat ride!!!..lol

If anyone is going to WDW Dec 7 be prepared. Beatrice from MS said that they are booked solid due to Pop Warner and MouseFest.

ewwwwww we will be there this week end. I really just want to see all the Christmas decorations and visit with the in laws. Except they have three little girls 3-4-6. I have never been with little ones so this should be fun.

We will be in MK during the day and at EPCOT for the CP that night. I am not exaclty sure of times for everything. We are probably making some time of PS/ADR for the 20th.

ADR 's are few and far between now - most Brits have been talking about (and booking)them since the 180 day mark.

0-2 in watching the ending of Christmas movies this week. Lina said I sacked out about 30 miniutes before the end of last night's movie. I guess I haven't been much company for Lina when it comes to watching movies this week. Maybe the movies should come on earlier.........
