Ok, my turn to share some photos

Last night we took Kira to her first Zoolights She LOVED it!!

For November and December, the Calgary Zoo dresses up their park with tons of lights from 6-9pm.

cute pictures. Kira is getting so big. I am glad we don't have to dress like that here in Texas. I don't like to bundle up but I should because I am always chilly. I need to wear warmer clothes. If I lived in Calgary I will be freezing all the time. diane

Bob's sister lives in Pittsburgh PA.
She came home for the holiday and went home Sunday night.
She returned to a housefire. They've lost about everything.
Melissa and her boyfriend were just renting the top apt.
And they didn't have renters insurance, so they are really in a rough spot now.

Sad stuff here today. Ds # 1 ex girlfriend's dad passed away Saturday. He was very sick with cancer so he is in a better place. But the worst thing happened to my friend. I know her through church- we are in the choir together. She is 44 and has a three year old. She was 8 months along and yesterday did not feel the baby move. they did an emergency c- section and it was too late. We are all in shock. She has such a hard time getting pregnant and has had a few miscarriages but never this far along. She is so depressed. Our priest was with her a while today so lets hope he can help. So please keep her and her family im your prayers. They will certainly need them.

After I posted on that news weblog that I posted earlier about Bob's sister Melissa's house fire, the administrator of that site contacted my email (which I'd only listed privately to be able to leave a message there, so I know it's got to be legit). The person said that they were checking to see if I was legit and if so how they might be able to organize a neighborhood fundraiser for Melissa and her boyfriend. They said that being that it's Christmas that the neighbors really would like to help them out however they could. And did they have a wish list.

How cool is that!
The internet is an amazing tool!

I called Melissa to ask her permission, but then she feels badly about taking anything from strangers. So I just forwarded along the email I got and told her to contact them if she'd like.

Morning everyone...I cant call it good morning ...Ellis is on form this morning ... 5 arguements later and he's still in his pj's

Oh well, he has 20 minutes and he goes to school however he is. ...pj's, nudey, whatever. No advent calendar choccie for him this morning

Went to a PTA meeting last night - geez! - I thought it was all going to kick off! - talk about a heated debate ...we're only meant to be there to raise school funding ... I felt like Judge Judy - I just kept shouting "one person at a time"... as they were all yelling over each other

What a waste of time.

I'm trying to get myself prepared for christmas dinner on Sunday with my Mother

I'll collect them about 1pm, dinner at 2pm,.... hopefully they'll be gone by 6pm

She was actually remarkably restrained last year and actually ate her dinner and was pleasant the whole time .... I cant possibly hope for that two years running

Just a quick hi before I have to go shopping for the family our store adopted for the holidays.

Today we can make our DVC ressies for pre and post cruise. Wish us luck that we get BCV. That is our fave. Room 128 has direct access to the quiet pool. Just open the slider and you are there.

Did anyone else do the ugly cry during the Biggest Loser or was it just me? The make over show is always my favorite.

From what I heard, the audience will get to pick the 3rd finalist, not all 3 finalists. I think tthe top two above the yellow line will be safe, with the audience voting on the 3rd place finisher. I sure hope Vicki falls below the yellow line next week.
