ok ok so it is like apple pie ...without the crust!!..lol we eat it as is or on pork.. but I am not a fan of store bought stuff.. I like homade wich has chunks of apples and lots of cinnomon!!;)

You eat it on its own? - just a pot of appley slop?:confused3 :scared:

I suppose it would be ok mixed in a yoghurt but on its own?:scared:

Oh, poor Karen! I thought that was a little mean too!

She caught the brunt; that's for sure! We love you, Karen! We love you Joanne! Post away, Ladies!

I'm used to it - Jeff and I teased each other a lot last year.:goodvibes

Obviously it was a joke, given the :lmao: at the end of the post. Karen even confirmed that it was a joke (albeit after your posts). Maybe if you got to know us a little more you'd see that we take jabs back and forth with each other. Same as Dawg and I, and Nancy (MG) and I.

Chuck (a.k.a. Tuna), who isn't on much, knows that I was joking as well. No worries, he and I will still be getting together for dinner about every other week between now and the cruise.

However, your thoughts of me have come out clearly in those and a few other posts I've read.

Hey AFEG, is there room in the life boat for me? (he knows what I'm talking about)

When I was a child, my mom put tinsel on the tree - one strand at a time. Needless to say, we were nto allowed to help. My hsuabnd's family also put tinsel ont he tree - not only when he was small but still today. When we married, he wanted tinsel on the tree. I had grown to think it was not so pretty, but we combined traditions andput tinsel on the tree - thus the great battle of one strand or clumps began! We met somewhere in the middle. It has been a topic of laughter since!

Do you like tinsel now Mimi or is it still not so pretty for you? :)

Christmas toilet paper - I have always threatened, but the kids say they couldn't wipe and leave that on Santa's face. :rotfl:

:lmao: :lmao:

I'm thinking we have a lot of good folks on this board! I am excited about meeting so many of you. I love the opportunity to get to know folks before sailaway from chatting like this!

Ditto Mimi! :thumbsup2

Nancy K and I will be standing in line for this one unless you'll agree to a pre-release shipment for us!

Special discounts to BOB/Bashers. :goodvibes
Need another idea? Chocolate is a vegetable. Chocolate comes from a bean, and a bean is a veggie. :goodvibes

thats one of our favs too.:thumbsup2

although i remember different things from that pool scene. :cloud9:

You would. ;)

No - Ugh! I hit reply before I finished typing. I hate it when I do that.

We love Christmas Vacation too. We have always done pizza and a movie every Firday night. We look forward to watching our Christmas favorites between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Even with the kids gone, Mack and I do pizza and a movie!

Sounds real nice Mimi. Cozy up on the couch with your lovey and watch a great holiday movie. ;)

I would buy it!.. and the chips for breakfast are called Old Dutch hasbrowns ;) hehehhe

Should I keep a list now. Thanks Bernie. Maybe with the sales of this book I can upgrade to a verandah from my free window cabin. :thumbsup2

no more tuna???

well then, i'm starting my "bring back the tuna" campain now.

this will be my last post on this thread till the tuna posts again.:wizard:

see you guys next oct..
if you want to talk to me, i'll be on thread #13

He's not mad, just embarrassed.

Okay - this may be too much for some of you...,. Warning - our daughter's dog took to eating everything - I mean everything - inm her room and bathroom trash can. That dog had everything coming out of him from tissues to plastic shopping bags to underwear to feminine hygeine prodcts - YUCK! We are lucky (okay, Mack would say not lucky) he didn't die. By the way, now that she is at college, he dog, Hershey, lives outside.

I'd love to see a picture of Hershey. (Cute name BTW).
Our yellow lab likes to attack anything that the ups or Fed-Ex man drops off. Last year he tore apart two pairs of shoes I bought for the cruise and completely demolished a package with a new cell phone. Never did find the battery. :scared1:

3 films in a row - i also love miracle on 34th street - the old version:thumbsup2

Please post piccies of your tree when its finished.

Miracle on 34th Street is another favorite. I love the old one with Natalie Wood but the new version is great too. I love the little girl in that one. :lovestruc

Sounds like our after Thanksgiving shopping, our favorite time. Though w/Mark we are earlier than you. You'll have to ask him

I was hoping some of our malls would open up right after midnight like some others do. Kristin wanted to hit up the outlet malls in Gurnee Illinois this year. They open at midnight too.

Good morning everyone :-)

We are almost done christmas shopping but I will not be putting any decorations up till Dec1 it was always a rule in the house..lol

and perhaps you guys could tell me about the fish hanger game?? or should I wait till tonight when i have dinner with Cass??

So last night it finally snowed... not much but atleast it looks like winter for today, we are suppose to have a Chinook this week wich will make it all go away again I miss my mountain winters.. lived in Calgary for almost 20 years now and still long for the kind of snow that when it happens it can bury your house..lol someday i will go back and be happy once more

Chinook? :confused3

Hi Guys.....

Sorry I haven't been on much the past few days, there has just been too much going on behind the scenes (extended family issues) that I can't get into here and most of my time has been dealing with that. :headache:

OK, now for the reason of this post. I arrived home a short while ago after picking Angelina up from her Holiday meeting at work. Angelina was given 5 25% Disney Store coupons that can be handed out to friends and family. These discount cards can only be used at Disney Store Retail locations in North America and can only be used from 12/5/08 to 12/7/08. These coupon cards can be used for your entire purchase. There are a few restrictions on the back of the card...10% discount applies to CDs, DVDs, BluRay, video games and videos.

I will send these out on a first come, first serve basis. If anyone is interested, please send me a PM with your address and Magical Shopping!!! :santa:

I hope things settle down for you soon Andy. Thanks for the offer of the coupons but my family discount is a better deal. :rotfl: Thanks Lina.

see this is why I don't drive .. I can like snow then..lol :rotfl:

Maybe if I didn't drive I would feel the same as you ;) :thumbsup2

You eat it on its own? - just a pot of appley slop?:confused3 :scared:

I suppose it would be ok mixed in a yoghurt but on its own?:scared:

I don't like it either Karen :crazy2: To me it's like eating baby food :scared: A lot of moms give it to their babies. I tried with Kira and she spit it all out :lmao:

Bernie...I almost forgot...if you want to read all about Mike's drag session (:lmao: ) you can read their trip report from the cruise :thumbsup2 :goodvibes Don't read it though if you want to be surprised about the Magic Quest game ;)

OK a Chinook is when there is a low cloud "arc" that covers the city and holds in warm air causeing it to feel like spring to summer.. then it goes away and the cold comes back!..lol

Please explain your dis name - Nerbie pie? - is a nerbie a type of pie:confused3 :confused3 Whats a nerbie?

I'm only asking so I dont do a "chuck"

I don't think anyone could beat that one. ;)

OK a Chinook is when there is a low cloud "arc" that covers the city and holds in warm air causeing it to feel like spring to summer.. then it goes away and the cold comes back!..lol

Got it now. I thought it was some kind of fish. :goodvibes

We put applesauce on potato pancakes Karen. :)

I'll bet that's gorgeous. :cloud9:

Potato pancakes? - is that like a rosti?

The castle looked stunning last year. I believe its the same lights this year too. I'm not sure what the switching on ceremony is? Maybe Tinkerbell does something?:confused3 If we can battle with the crowds I'm sure we'll take a look.

I need to play with my camera before I go - I'm no good at nightime shots. (I blame it on the camera!):rolleyes1

I'd like some good evening shots this year with all the xmas lighting, but I dont want the hassle of lugging a tripod with me:sad2: .

Nancy - Is Chuck really embarrassed? Poor guy. Tell him we've all said silly things before now and to bite the bullet and come back on. We promise not to mention it again:rolleyes1
