I will have a rental car & I think Leisha & Tom might be driving down too. I've heard it's better to drive to MK for MNSSHP anyway.

My plan, so far, is to pick up a rental car at the port, drive back to WDW, stay where ever everyone else is staying (AKV?), go to MNSSHP and then head back to the airport Sunday morning.

If we fly it will probably be on Thurs. & we'll take ME to WDW for 1 night somewhere. We will probably stay after the cruise until Mon. probably AKV if that's where everyone else is.

Beach club is our favorite too. But we aren't doing any parks so it doesn't matter. Just the MSSHP.

So you're not doing a park at any time? If you can get into MNSSHP without a park pass then we will use one day on Sun. (we have 3 days left on our pass from Sept) because I think we would fly home on Mon.
N

Annette - where are y'all staying after the cruise?

We are driving. We will have our car. We plan to stay soemwhere that night and attend MNSSHP too.

Breakfast at AKL sounds great. We would love to stay there too, but we can't make reservations there till March 31. We don't look forward to the crowds at MNSSHP on Halloween, but we don't have the choice of going before the cruise. Also, we will be there to soak in atmosphere not so much to ride and eat, so maybe we'll be fine.

I think we'll make ressies at SSR at 11 month mark & switch to AKV on March 31. That way we're sure of something. If several people have cars then buses might not be an issue. And we love the breakfast there!

That sounds like a plan. I'm sure we will have enough cars between us to not have to worry about the buses. I wish we were having breakfast there right now!

Okay - so we can stay wherever we can get reservations at 7 months (or 11 if it is SSR) then go to EPCOT if we want that afternoon, and we can go to MK after 4 for the price of the MNSSHP only!!!! I am psyched! Now it will jsut be a matter of where we can stay when we can call. I suppose we should get a ressie at SSR just in case then switch it at 7 months if there is something else we would want. Cool beans!!!!!

Yup, that's exactly what we've been thinking.

I must admit to you all that although we are not ready to forgo our BOBr cruise, we are up in the air. We do have the WBTA booked and we don't think we can do both cruises two years in a row. We decided that we will figure it out after the New Year and our December WDW trip. It is hard coming to this thread because I want to cruise with you all so badly that it keeps swaying me to continue with our 2009 plans and say goodbye to the idea of a TA cruise.

In addition to wanting to cruise with you all, one of the issues we are having trouble working through are the cost of the flights from here to Barcelona as well as not being sure if our kids can handle such an extensive plane trip.

SO, I just wanted to be honest with you all and let you know that we are still debating this topic and probably will be for the next month or so. :rolleyes1

Given the state of the economy I think we could all say this at one point or another. The big difference is that those of us who are DVC members can use points for the cruise so it's not quite as expensive.

That's good - I didn't really want to use one of our park pass days just to go to MNSSHP. Do you know when you can start buying tix for that?

N

Sometime in early May. I'm sure the thread will be a buzz with that news when the time comes.

OOO and I almost forgot - there is a DVC/AP discount for those tickets, at least there was this year.

Oops, nevermind - that is only for non-premium dates and October 31st is the MOST premium!

According to the info on Cass's site, early May.

Edited: Ooops, I see Kathy already knew.

Thanks - I'd rather have 2 answers than none - especially when they agree!! Another date to put on the calendar.

We're DVC members, too, but would not willingly use points for a cruise -- it's just not a good use of points IMO. Plus, we only have 200 points, so it wouldn't get us far anyway.

Good morning everyone...

It seems it was a busy morning on the thread this morning. I had I think 4 pages to catch up on since going to bed last night.

I am out to do some raking before heading to work later this morning. I am hoping to get most of it done this morning and it doesn't appear that there is any wind today. :cool1: I will be so thankful when they are all up! I am really getting tired of raking.

Church...:rolleyes1

76,000 worshippers every home game......

Sorry Mate, but this is church here in WI:

Just under 73,000 faithful every home game.

But those who like to go to church on Saturday, there is a church in the south central part of the state. This one has over 80,000 faithful:

Oh, and we've evolved from the caveman days and learned how to use our hands when playing. :rotfl2:
