Have y'all ever had it fried? We are deep frying ours and our neighbors' turkeys this year. It's great.

Good morning peeps

Its sunny here this morning (still freezing cold but sunny )

We did the first coat of the stairs and hallway yesterday - we also got to the gym ... this morning is the 2nd coat and then put everything back in place.
Doing it ourselves has saved us about $1400.

That is a great savings for you guys. It sounds like alot of work but it is worth it in the end. Right. I went for my walk with Bubbah today at 7 AM. It was chilly and windy. 53 degrees. I had a hoodie on. Di

Good morning everyone.

Its great to finally be to Friday! This afternoon we leave and travel about an hour away for our "Christmas Party" this evening. I know it seems weird to have one so early, but this is our busiest time of the year, so we have our party before the craziness really gets started.

Then tomorrow we can enjoy the indoor water park at the hotel for the day. It should be a great time. My kids have really been looking forward to it since we got the notice back in late summer.

I will probably DIS a bit as I have to take my work laptop to do some work on a grant that I will need to work on over the next week or so. I probably will take my camera as well if I ultimately remember it! I have a bad tendency to forget my camera.

I do have to brag a little--95 on the final exam!!!! I don't think I ever saw a 95 on anything I did before. Granted it wasn't the rocket science but for this old out of school for 30 year brain I will take it.

Yeah, I think I agree with you about the TOT. I will wait for a few more opinions from BOBers with small kids and see what they think too before we decide to nix it

I told Rob after that crappy episode that it was going to get canceled if they keep that up. Then I told him to watch it without me from now on and he did. Then last week he said, yeah I think you're right, it might be canceled He hasn't even bothered to watch this week's episode yet

Yes Great Job Andy. 1 pound is 1 pound. It gets harder the more weight you lose. I lost 1.4 lbs this week and .4 the week before. It has been hard work. I was right on the money at Weight Watchers so I did not have to pay. Thank goodness. I had to pay the last two months because I was 1.4 pounds over. It is really hard since I like to graze and eat. I would like to lose a couple more before the holidays but it is really hard to stay on track. Di

Great idea! That may be a great color for me. I have brown hair (at least for the moment) and brown eyes.

Glad i could help. My nephew's wife had bridesmaids in that very colour and they looked gorgeous.

Chris, great pics. I can't wait til our visit in 2010. When Sean and Cath came over this summer they brought us all kinds of literature so we could see some of the places we would be seeing. BEAUTIFUL!

I have a tip for you ... once the cookies have cooled down put a slice or two of bread in their storage container. In a couple of hours the cookies will have sucked the moisture out of the bread and presto yummo - soft, chewy cookies.

Oh no...crunchy cookies please.
