My crockpot is making chicken right now. I used a recipe out of Nancy's crockpot cookbook - chicken with white wine and Good Seasons Italian dressing packet Boy, hope it tastes as good as it smells!

We're crock potting today too! Trying a recipe for German beef stew ... and while that's slowly cooking I'm going to try my hand at making some pear & gorgonzola cheese tartlets - that's a Thanksgiving trial run so wish me luck!

I love using ours once the weather gets cold. With just Jay and me we usually get three meals out of a crock pot batch of stew, soup, etc ... and it's nice and easy.

Paige, those deals are not available for DVC members. They're for folks who book rooms at a Value resort at full rate prices - Disney tosses in the "free" dining as an incentive to get people to pay for the rooms.

So if you're booked for next month with your points that offer will not apply. If you're paying out of pocket and are booked at a Value resort you might call and see if you can take advantage of the offer.

EDITED: offer only applies for guests booking at Value resorts.

Well, no luck for us with free dining. We are booked with points, but even if we weren't, we can't stay in a value resort--there are 5 of us. (Well, I guess I could book a suite, huh?) Thanks for the info, Bendy.

Well, that all sounds great. Is "Nancy's Crockpot Cookbook" from Nancy G? I missed that. I will need to follow up on the thread more often if this is the case.

Tonight, Rob and I are headed out to dinner. Nothing fancy, Brick Oven Pizza. I won a giftcard at Bunko last month. We are celebrating 18 years of wedded (most of the time-lol) bliss.

Hazel is doing just fine.

Right now she is fixing dinner for her and I. I just arrived back home from dropping Lina off at work. Lina had a late lunch, so she will eat dinner when she gets home around 8pm.

Finally saw the sun today for the first time in about 5 days.

I'm on my first drink of the day, though so I must be feeling better than yesterday.

Went with DH & DS # 1 to the sports bar to watch football, after some yummy artichkoe dip I took my beach chair and went out and sat on the beach. After some reading and sun worshiping I went back in to catch the end of the game.

We are grilling, steak and back potato.

I'm jealous.

We're in the middle of our first real cold of the season ... we even had a fire last night. No sunshine since early Friday morning ... just cold and cloudy and windy. Brrrrrrr.

I don't understand this code stuff. How would I find the cheapest romm for three night 12/4-12/7. I find the value at 82.00 but that's not much of a deal.
