10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #9

We did it in Cozumel and it was OK. Better at Sea World.

We have gone to Discovery Cove also What a wonderful day that was and swimming with the dolphins there was awesome!!! We would love to go back there some day!

You should try another cruise line.....DCL have limited ports as you know. Princess was lovely - not sure that Rachel will appreciate it though, lots of older people on that cruise. RCL was good, but only experienced the 4 day so far.

I would love to get to some other ports and that is one of the downfalls of DCL. Al would like a ship with a casino. I was reading an article last night about the RCL new ship that will be launched in late 2009. The article referred to it as Project Genesis and it will have a Central Park on it that will be the length of a football field. It sounds huge. Someday I would really like to cruise Alaska but that will have to wait until Rachel is off to college, she has no interest in that one. It's hard to believe she will be going to college in 4 years.

I haven't done this yet. My dolphin experience was at sea world before they opened Discovery Cove. Perhaps next year!

Andy, When we were on our vacation in June we got gas in NJ not far from NYC and you could not pump your own gas, you had to let them do it for you. Is that the way all gas stations are in NJ? This was the only place we saw that and we were surprised, we only have self-serve gas stations around here.

Yes, NO SELF SERVE in NJ, we are one of only two states in the country that does not allow self serve gas stations.

Well just popped in to say Hello and say what an ace time were having,Vegas was fantasic dispite the fact my wallet is now in ICU The trip up and over the canyon was great it was worth the cash just to see Hazel and Rosie's face on take off Cass they took more pictures on the plane than they have in the last 12 years.... Were now in Bakerfield (thank god were not staying here longer )....Well must go Take care and we'll try coming on again......Anyone bored and daft enough could try ringing 7123404022 tommorow for a life up date as to where were at....Laters people....

I ordered a LARGE tub of Coffee ice cream and Hazel told me "you won't eat all that"...I did and Half of Rosie's.....

Well, we have finally settled on a cruise date, and the 10/24/09 BOB cruise is the one.

We had been considering the 10/10, but decided on this date just last evening.

After reading the cruise meet thread, it looks like it could be a LOT of fun! Looking forward to getting to know you folks as we overplan over the next 14 months!

Heather are you doing the Segway tour at Fort Wilderness this time? (I can't rememebr if it was you or someone else that mentioned they will be trying that one ) I made a reservation for Al to do the Segway tour at EPCOT for when we are there are in Dec., he had a hard time deciding which one he would rather try and finally decided on the EPCOT one. EPCOT is his favorite park.

I am thinking of joinging this cruise.

I was not going to do a cruise until 2010 but i just cant wait so Dh said go ahead and book one........

I would like to have a year to plan as i work alot!
And the last one we took in June was spur of the moment and i missed out on alot.

So weird as it is before i go to the Cruiseline website.

I came to the CRUISE MEET thread to see which cruise i wanted to take. Yes i have issue!......LIME GREEN ISSUES

So later today i will be going to the web page to see what cabins are available on 3 different cruises that i pick from the meet and greet section!

I think i sailed with FAT ENGLISH GENT and Hockeychic previously.

Just came across a coupon for a new Chinese Buffet that opened up in our area this week. We are going to give them a try before heading to the theatre this evening. They have a sushi bar and Lina wants to give that a try.
