Ooooh, Baltic cruises interest me. I just don't know if I could get my kids to fly that far!

How many nights were the Trans-Atlantic cruises?

I guess I must be out of the loop. I spend virtually all of my Disboards time on this thread. I didn't realize that the leading "rumor" for 2010 was for the Magic to return to Europe for Northern European (Baltic) cruises. :cloud9: I just assumed that they would return to Barcelona and the Med.

If this turns out to be true, we may be on the Magic for October 2009 and Summer 2010. :yay: I wouldn't redo the Med cruise, but I would take a Baltic DCL cruise.

Any interest in a European KK cruise? :thumbsup2

Matthew

I remember a great deal of talk about DCL going to Northern Europe during the Med cruises last year. I think it was Captain Tom that hinted about DCL going there next time they went back across the pond.

14 nights Mel, with 6 of them being straight sea days......

Popping onto your thread a minute.....

I am thinking of joinging this cruise.

I was not going to do a cruise until 2010 but i just cant wait so Dh said go ahead and book one........:cool1:

I would like to have a year to plan as i work alot!
And the last one we took in June was spur of the moment and i missed out on alot.

So weird as it is before i go to the Cruiseline website.

I came to the CRUISE MEET thread to see which cruise i wanted to take.:rotfl2: Yes i have issue!......LIME GREEN ISSUES:thumbsup2

So later today i will be going to the web page to see what cabins are available on 3 different cruises that i pick from the meet and greet section!

I think i sailed with FAT ENGLISH GENT and Hockeychic previously.

Had a late morning break today as I had a bunch of curb meters to read this morning and I wanted to get them done first thing before it got too hot outside. Break time is now over and back to work I go........see y'all in a little bit.......:wave2:

I believe the Trans-Atlantic repo cruises were 14 days. DD Megan wants to do a repo cruise because of all of the sea days. I would have to go for the 11 night Baltic cruise though. Ideally the ship would sail from Southampton in England. We stopped in London for three days last year on our way to the Med cruise. It was great.

Bye Bye cry baby! I think that was a good move by Thompson and McCarthy to just let him go on his way. Although I feel bad for Chad Pennington as his time with the Jets is more than likely over now.

We'll take him (Pennington that is). I have no faith in Rodgers. I think the kid they picked up from Louisville will be the starter by mid-season. Maybe sooner the way Rodgers seems to get hurt after every time he plays. :sad2:

I think it was the Trans-Atlantic EB that I was following on a blog last year - it was rough a couple of days. I remember posting a picture on the KK site of the adult pool. It looked like a wave pool. :scared1:

Welcome Lynn.

Hope you pick us. This feels like the dating game - "Cruise Meet #1, if I were to choose you, what kind of fun could you provide me?" :rotfl:

I'm sailing with AFEG next week. I'll let you know if he's that great. :lmao: Actually he was with us on the KK cruise (btw, if you hadn't picked up on it, this is a second go around for about half the people here. We had such a great time in Oct '07 and made great friendships, we decided to do it again. Picked up a lot of great new cruisers to our group along the way. Check out post #1 for a roster :thumbsup2 ).

So, if you wouldn't mind, how do you go about selecting which group(s) you want to cruise with? Never planned a cruise that way, just picked a date that works for me and then joined the group that was there. Although I have to say, the DIS groups for my cruises run "hot-cold". Every other one is a great group and the ones in between I don't connect with. Weird.

I'm green just thinking about it!

Jeff are you ready to go yet? Has Suz packed the whole house like Chris' Hazel?

You are correct Jeff, I remember people talking about how rough the seas were heading eastbound. I think they had much calmer seas coming westbound however.

Not sure if I'd want to do a Baltic Cruise. I keep seeing how Karen, Chris and Heather say how the weather is always cooler there. I want sun when I'm on vacation.

I haven't had time to even think about the cruise yet. I'm starting to get in that mode now, but still have schedules to do for my Auditors. They will be here through Tuesday, so I will be on the go up until we leave. I'm hoping to take Wednesday off next week, but think I may have to do a 1/2 day.

We have a few things on the bed in the guest room (no clothes yet and there's still half a suit case of stuff on that bed :sad2: ). We won't start packing until probably Saturday night or Sunday.

Suz biggest problem is shoes. Always takes a lot. I think I do too (dress brown for normal dinners, dress black for my tux, crocs, and I'll wear my tennis shoes).

You would think it would be reverse since when it came back it was during hurricane season.

That is the one thing I'm dreading about the repo. I remember in '05 the Magic skipped Cabo because it had to out run a hurricane. Seas were up to 30' where they were at.

Howdy There Jeff, how's work going?
