10/24/2009 Bash on the Boat Cruise (I'm with BOB) Chapter #9

Well, she exagerates a little bit. We have 5 days in the GV. Since early December is the "cheapest" season, we got it for 182 points. We have only gotten a GV one other time since we became members in 1993. Usually if we have company, the two bedroom does the trick. Otherwise, we get the 1 BR for the four of us.

Good morning all.

I have a question for all you WDW experts.

My BIL has been given a make a wish vacation in December. He has three little girls. 6,4,and 2. They were asking us what they should do. Their oldest has an awful illness about 2 years ago.and almost died. It was so sad, but it so amazing that she is better and given a great future.

Does any one know how to make reservations with that Bibbity bobbity boop boutique?

I have never been with little ones. They are putting them up off property which I think is harder cause you can't take the kids back as easy for a nap. Make a wish is not helping with the planning at all. They pay for the park tickets and give them a fod allowance, I would have thought some one would help them with everything. SIL called the dinning reservations number and got a very rude person, so they already have a bad feeling about Disney. They have never been and I so want them to have a great time. They never would have been able to afford this on their own.

hi gang. i'm happy to report that after a weekend of stress, calmer heads prevailed and we ratified a 2 year contract.
i was thinking of working 3 more years before retiring, but since this is a 2 year deal and it wasnt pretty, i may just retire in 2 years. when you retiring andy? maybe we can go out the same time.
i think walts about ready next year. right walt?

we had a disney wonder cruise booked for oct and the final payment was due today. if it looked like it was going to be a loooong strike we were going to cancel. so now i'm of to call the TA and confirm.
the flight was already booked. we'll be staying in wdw for 1 nite, leave on the wonder on sunday, then 3 days at wdw before heading home.
we're going to skip the mnsshp this time.
gotta check on disney resorts too. lots to do now.

Planned next year to be in Cleveland area visiting some Redhead (don't tell DI) June 27-28th....Could be longer depending on Redhead's plans...

Me, retire? I'm not really sure. I am eligable to retire in 21 months, whether I go out then depends on different factors, the first being the condition of my knees. If I get to April 2010 and feel I can go on longer I probably will. If not, then I will say to my boss, "Show my the papers I need to sign!!!"

Our current contract expires 12/31/09

Just back from NY- Have tons of work to catch up on. It was fun. Do miss the city some times. Spending 4 days with 40 something in laws??? All I can say is I am glad to be in Florida!!!
